Married At First Sight - Season 1 - General Discussion - **Spoilers**

This episode was very strange to me.  

Jason and Courtney seem like a for sure they will stay together, but he keeps acting like there's a possibility it won't.  I don't get it.

Jamie is pointing out on twitter how great it is how patient Doug is.  She also said if they are still together, she's all in.

Monet and Vaughn were just weird, because they are going from step one. I don't get how it will last.

I loved the gifts that Jason and Cortney gave each other. She gave his a tickets to a Rocky play and he gave a cute T-shirt.

Doug did a stand up routine for Jamie and Jamie did another photoshoot for them as a couple.

I didn't pay attention to Monet and Vaughn's gifts.

^They got each other watches because she is always late and he is always on time. It was kinda cute they got each other the same thing.

I agree, atem. The episode made me feel like V&M actually could have a chance, but that J&D would be divorcing. It left J&C's relationship up in the air, but Jason likely to pull the plug on it. At least, that's what the edit was seemingly leading me to think. Sooo, this episode turned the possible outcome for each couple completely around from what the previous episodes were leading me to believe. Personally, I think this is just the editing to keep the audience guessing. As you pointed out in a different post, the sleuthing indicates otherwise.

If the shows producers are just playing with us, I wish they would stop. To me the show isn't about the suspense, but more about the experiment...how do the arranged couples become actual committed couples. That's the fascinating part.

Besides the Instagram pic of Jamie holding Doug's friend's baby, are there any additional spoilers ?

A picture of her in bed with the dog and there is another arm next to her. Possibly Doug.
There is another photo taken in front of a mirror that some think showed Doug in the reflection.
Both taken after the divorce date.

She also seems very positive about Doug in her Twitter.
She indicated that she was very excited to say if she was still married and was grinning very big, would seem she is happy with the results of the show.

I actually think the couples r all still together. There is a pic posted on Monet's ig of the wives and you can clearly see her wedding band still on.

Don't they all have to wear their wedding bands until after the final show? Otherwise people would know if they divorced.

She also spent time with Doug's family on July 4th and went to his job while he was doing life guard stuff in New Jersey, but only showed his legs.
