The major clue for me was the fact that Vaughn/Monet did not get a place together like the others did.  It was either his place or her place but no our place imo.  I do like the fact that both Courtney and Jason was willing to sacrifice to help out each other.  I do think that Jason will let his guard down and let Courtney in because she is truly falling for him.

With how much Lady spends with Doug and the pictures of her with his family on July 4th, I think they are still going to be married.

Me, too! Her picture from tonight on her bed was her bed from her apartment. That made me sad. Most of her posts have been very positive though and lots of hints that they are still together. Maybe they decide to stay married but make it more like a dating situation?

For sure, more entertaining than that tired show.

I just finished binge watching all the episodes this morning. This show is fascinating! I agree that 2 out of the 3 couples seem to have a real shot at this point. I hope they make it.

What I liked about Doug is that he didn't take Jamie's hesitations personally. He must have a strong sense of self in order to hang in there. He was very wise not to press her and to give her space. He deserves so much credit. I'm impressed.

Jason and Courtney seem to be smitten with one another. Each person seems to have a deep capacity to give and to love. I'm really rooting for them.

Vaughn and Monet seem to be very focused on themselves individually...and both seem to be very defensive.  Hopefully, with the experts' help they can get back on track. It's pretty tough, though, to learn the communications skills they need in such a short amount of time.

Do the couples have an incentive like money to stay married any specific lenght of time? If so then after that deadline if they are still married they may be in love and make it.

Yes! Fleiss should steal some ideas from this show. When the lead narrows to final four, it would be really interesting to bring on some experts and introduce more "real world" than fantasy or just an awkward MTP. I'd much rather see the lead and each guy/gal talk about practical real world stuff ... like housing, budgets/bills, work schedules and family dynamics than just exotic dates and trumped up drama.

I was reading Jamie's twitter feed and someone asked her about renting apartment with Doug plus paying rent on her place. She said that she couldn't reveal details yet but would share as much as she could after finale. She added a "#we'renotrich" (or something like that).

As Jamie made clear, she never stopped working (except for the mini honeymoon) but kept her 12-13 hour shifts as a Labor & Delivery RN. If they are being compensated, they all are keeping their day job(s). Doug has multiple jobs as well (solutions consultant with iCIMS, ordained minister hired to perform wedding ceremonies & Manasquan Beach lifeguard PT).

Actually, if you check out @jamienotis and @DougHehner, it's pretty hilarious the advice people are tweeting to them. Same for @KortKneee_Rae (Cortney) and @monet_iam (Monet). They are all super gracious and responsive to fans.

BTW ... I also just saw that Married at First Sight was renewed for another season. Season one SEEMS to be pretty raw & real. I hope they can keep that level of authenticity and cast/match genuine singles wanting to get married and not just gain their 15 minutes of fame.

I'm glad to see they've renewed for another season. I said the same about LITW, I hope they keep it the same and don't ruin it!!

Then I realized, this is not MF's franchise. Although I do enjoy TB and 'ette, this is a totally different show. There's no comparison because they have nothing in common to compare it to. What I find myself doing when I watch something new, I'm always watching skeptical, trying to find the same flaws as TB, bad habit!

As for the apartments, I would have to imagine the show asked them what they would like to do, move in to one of there own apartments, or find a new one together. I'm sure if they decided the later, they helped them on that hunt, it may even have been a temporary set up if they choose. Both of those apartments looked to be furnished, which could be an easy temporary set up. Jamie's apartment looked really nice in comparison to where they are now, so maybe after the "trial" period they moved into her place?? I can't blame her for not getting rid of it though. ( could explain her tweet from last night in her old apartment)

I thought it was not a good move for Monet and Vaughn to get their own place, both seem to be too set in their ways and do not want to give up anything.. well I say both but I mean mostly Vaughn. As much as their arguing last night was annoying, it was understandable. They are both in their 30's, a little "settled", and they haven't had the opportunity to date to hash their communication differences out.. they just got married! They both seem committed and want this, so I wouldn't be surprised if they end up staying married. Wouldn't that be something 3 for 3?!!!

I'm glad it's renewed. But, let's be honest. The first season is always the 'real' one and after that is when the 'I want to be on tv' types come in. I think that Jamie being a Bachelor member helped get the word out about this show. Otherwise, I probably wouldn't have known about it.

Jamie is pretty frank and so is Doug, so I expect we will know a lot after the season is over. I saved a picture I liked of Doug/Jamie, but don't want to make an avi until I know they are together! LOL
