Thank you Karma   . The article with the curve ball sounds like he is referring to someone not on this season, which is odd to me because this season really does have good candidates to choose from.

On the Extra clip IMO, when he says something along the lines of we haven't seen it all, I think he is referring about the fake drama with the letter. That's just my opinion.

The rumor growing legs is that they are seriously considering Arie for the bachelor. That would be the 'curve ball'. Has nothing to do with Josh.

i have posted about this topic a while back. the term curve ball could have 2 meanings:

-- the guy not from this season. eg Arie

--the guy from this season who had 'surpassed' Chris to get the gig surprisingly, Josh.

Both are plausible scenarios IMO

Interestingly, note that the lawyer guy at MnG who got sent home (among the FIRST ones) also used the term Curve Ball in his last PI. I tend to think msybe Josh will use this term too when he is sent home as the LAST guy booted. Wowza!!

OTOH note that Nick is the FIR guy and Nick Sutter edited as the last guy to receive rose at MnG. foreshadow much?..Fun Stuff!

True Monica. or as in the awesome NR's term: the clasp of the pearl string come in full circle with roses on either end. ( the pearl resembles 'inner circle': their relationship that keep moving forward on each time they met ). Lets not forget that the ROSE also the ELephant , whom everyone talk about and cant be overlook.

About the crying in the preview:


There would be lots of reasons to be conflicted. The only one I don't buy is that she doesn't already know who she is going to choose.

What makes more sense to me is that she is emotional because the scenes before getting into the car and while in the car are connected to letting someone go early.

She broke down when letting Chris go at FS.  I didn't sense any regret on her part, it was just emotional because she's likely getting very tired and because Chris is a fine guy, just not her guy.   She has been following whatever her criteria is - in Chris's case she said they didn't have the foundation she was looking for.

My guess is this preview crying could be similar... preparing to or already having let someone go before the RC.  No conflict - just time to do it.

no doubt in my mind that Andi had made her mind set up on Nick going to DR, for 2 sole reasons:1)the usual norm of the past Ettes 2)coupling with my Eric Effect theory:no need for her to masking her feeling toward Nick anymore ;not worry much about the 'logistic' aka moving for Nick, etc

im sticking with this till the end of ChicagoSummers

On a completely different note, the ABC epi synopsis of Nick ends in a faith reference: "carry him to the altar". In Catholicism, this is a reference to "carry to the altar" which is the sacred rite of communion which is preceeded by the "gifts".

At first glance it might seem odd to speak of "passion" in the same paragraph as "carry him to the altar" however it depends on one's view of passion and it's role in a relationship.

This is so interesting, thank you for telling us this!  Do you remember one of Nick's first tweets after this big adventure was something about spending time at a Catholic church?  You sleuthers are amazing.  

i thought the 'carry him to the altar' is the odd thing to put in the synopsys . Have we ever heard about this on the past seasons?..  

dont blame me if by that line i carelessly accusing ABC drum rolling the coming Nick's impending danger at ATFR. Wowza!
