Ohh I have lots of hope for Andi and Nick, I just don't find Hy amusing.  I guess he is trying to come off intimidating?  All I will say is I will wait until MTP before I make my full judgement of Hy.

is there something specific which makes you feel he's being intimidating?  

My dislike for Hy started with his attitude to JPG and then somehow it is different when his little princess is the lead? Not a fan of Hy or Andi.

It was just his face but of course I realize it is just an edit.  Honestly, I think it is a good sign Nick is F1 because they usually try to create some doubt that the parents or siblings don't like the F1.

I know this is Nick's thread, but just want to point this out... One of Josh's last statements during his MTA summary stood out to me:
I waited 29 year to have this feeling and I finally have it and I definitely don’t want to let it go so I’m going to fight for her.

It's just a short clip of Nick sitting with Andi's dad and asking for permission to ask Andi to marry him... the dad is very poker-faced. Haven't seen a video of Josh.

Sue ... you keep challenging me with these ideas ... good point.
I'm still curious about the "proposal conversation with the parents" - if Nick has a talk with Hy, that's a good thing, if they edit it as things didn't go smoothly it's even better.

I do and think that couch screen cap is pretty good indication that Nick is F2. If I saw him sad, I would be sad, but he is okay, so I am happy to get the last couple of hours of him on my tv.

I am viewing it as his trying out for the next woman who will actually deserve him.

Good point Sue. This definitely stood out to me (the fight for her phase). Really makes me think that letter is from Josh rather than Nick.

yeah we should realize that in the end of the scene it seemed choppy whereas at a point where Nick said Andi is 'IT' for him Hy couldnt hide his smile   . TPTB loves to create drama out of nothing

I actually thought Hy kind of liked Nick. U know Hy's going to live up to the image and be tough, but he seemed as if he believed him ( I saw the smile too & the end is choppy). Maybe he saw something in Nick or just saw somethingin Andi when Nick was there.
