re yoered o de^^ perhaps, but I find it rather telling that Andi sat right next to Kelly when she bashed and abused Nick time and time again on Twitter. (Calling him a "pedophile" and all kinds of disgusting things...)

Not sure we can assume that Andi did or did not have a problem with the name-calling (which I personally found quite anathema.  There is a photo (tweeted either by Kelly or the other friend who tweets with them) of all three who, as you said, were sitting side by side but all of them seemed to be very engrossed in their own tweeting so it's not clear (at least to me) whether Andi was aware of the content of Kelly's tweets or not.

I asked Kelly to delete the tweet and she didn't.
Another Nick fan tweeted Andi about this offensive tweet, so it's safe to say Andi was aware of it.

It's great that you (and nutty?? if I recall) did this; at least let them know someone was offended!!

I realize this is a very unpopular opinion, but Kelly did not post, "Nick is a pedophile".  She said something about a "pedophile stare" I believe, which most (probably correctly) assumed she was attributing to Nick, although I don't think she actually stated as such.  I have absolutely zero doubt that Kelly doesn't truly believe that Nick is a pedophile or even a possible future pedophile, she was just making a joke, albeit one in very poor taste.  For me personally, I'd be much more insulted if someone speculated or outright stated that they actually believed I might be something very unflattering (and to be honest, most of us have been guilty on this board a time or two of doing that to contestants we don't like) than if they jokingly called me a name which I knew they really didn't believe to be the case and only said to be funny.  But that's me.

The thing is I just simply can't say "oh, she just made a poor joke" - .. She keeps bashing him and calling him names every single episode. It wasn't a one-time thing and she REFUSED to delete those tweets after being repeatedly asked to. She sees nothing wrong with them. That's EXTREMELY sad, IMO.

Don't hide, I know what you mean. They're just being stupid, silly girls. I'm sure Kelly is excited to be friends with Josh and all his friends and have Andi stay in ATL with them and was just getting carried away with snark. Not super awesome but I get it.

I seriously doubt that Andi finds anything remotely funny in either of the plane videos.  One of them totally spoiled the season and the other is negative about her man.

I would be livid that a show I gave my heart and soul to for a year was spoiled by one of the losers.

She and her future in-laws have been spoiling the whole season since it started airing. And THAT was done on purpose. Nicks spoilers were completely accidental.

But they only started "spoiling" after the Nick video was released!

But it's not like Nick made the video nor did he release it. Imo, the person who should be blamed for spoiling the Show is the person who made and released the video.

The thing is when we like someone, we're more likely to see the positive side of things he/she does than when we don't like him/her. And it shows most of the time.

I posted the second comment to Kelly's post.  It's just offensive in so many ways. As a firsthand victim of a pedophile, I can tell you that my uncle never had a creepy stare - most pedophiles don't.  Most are people you trust.  Any public post that suggests otherwise feeds a dangerous misconception.

IMO, friends honor their friendships by making the necessary compromises, such as removing a Twitter post that your friend finds uncomfortable.  The refusal to do so would strain my friendship and I would deeply reconsider my choice of friend.

In my opinion;
I absolutely can feel negatively towards Andi because she chooses to hang around someone who would post such negative comments towards her ex-boyfriend. I do think that it reflects poorly on Andi, and it tells me a lot about the mean girls she chooses to spend time with. I believe that as a lawyer, as a person, and as a member of the Bachelor franchise Andi should work very hard to convince her friend to remove those controversial messages from social media.

Those tweets are still there, so it may be safe to assume (IMO) that Andi supports the 'joke' knows about it, and considers it to be fine.

We can speculate that Andi is quite good at convincing people to do something she wants. We have seen her strength and ability to argue, not to mention her job as a successful lawyer. The fact that the comments remain with no apology speaks volumes.

There are blogs and video commentary all over the internet where these contestants, including Andi, are insulted, defamed, and called ridiculous names, largely in the "spirit" of humor and entertainment, and IMO, none of it is intended by its author/creator to be taken literally or seriously. As far as humor that is mean and not politically correct goes, some don't find it funny, some do. Some may be personally sensitive to certain digs due to past experiences, others not at all. For some it depends on who is being ridiculed, and whether they are a fan of that person or not. Perhaps sadly, this is the way of the world these days, free speech and all.
