Do I care who she picks and spends the rest of her life with? - No.
Do I care to know if her F1 pick is the one I have a "gut" feeling for? - Yes, because it gives me a confidence that I can see through the edit of TPTB. If it goes differently, I would need to question my own ability of a storyteller (and an editor) ... not a pleasant moment, but if that makes me better at my job and helps me grow - so be it.

Watching last week with 2 unspoiled viewers they told me they both thought she would choose Nick.  They think Josh is too smooth and talks too fast. They were Nick all the way. When I said that the F1 always gets the suite with water they were like, "really?  Well, we still dont think he's the winner. "
Just goes to show that TPTB fool the regular audience pretty well, if the spoilers are to be believed.

To me is very much about the edit ... I know here people love to sleuth and that's great ... it does give you an idea if you're on the right train of thinking ...
but I always watch the story-plot ... how they present each contestant, their main story, their connection with the lead and the "problem" ...
To not be long-winded again, I  sum it up: with the edit of the first 4 episodes I was pretty sure Josh would be F1, Nick was too much up-front ... "too perfect" (I'm talking about the edit portray) ... then the edit switched ... something I didn't suspect (because I couldn't imagine they could play on the "evil" card with Nick - of all people) ... and here I give props to TPTB, they did it! ... that's when I start to doubt ... and I started to see a possibility of Nick being F1 (the fact that I like him as a character doesn't matter to me when I observe the story. Do I wish him "win" - yes - for him I guess, but for me is more about my own "right guess of an ending" than whether "my guy wins or not") ... then I got "spoiled", saw the video, that threw me off a bit ... and I went back to believing my first theory ... but the editing of the subsequent episodes didn't match up ... so I revised the whole story, from beginning to where it might lead ... and I came to conclusion that the video, like every other advertisement, Bette propaganda, articles/interviews ... they all want to make us believe Josh is F1 ... and well, that could indeed happen ... just to me, the way I see the edit go, it's not the style that TPTB would choose for this season end. It's going with a bang ...
then if I'm wrong ... I'll say without shame, I was wrong.

No offense to anyone, but I think if you are a Nick as F1 fan you saw her more excited with Nick, if you are a Josh as F1 fan you saw her over the top with Josh.

I am neither, I just want the guys happy.  I saw her happy for both ILYs but not over the top like I saw Ash with JP for either ILY.

I don't mean it as an insult, but I do think the fangirl glasses help us interpret things one way or another.  I haven't cared this little who the lead picks since Ben, then I felt he should pick no one since I liked Kacie B, but after her HTD knew that would be a disaster.  I felt about Nikki last season the way most of you feel about your F1 pick now.  I will say that even with that, I watched JPG thinking he didn't really make his decision until the night before.

I think the problem with becoming a fan of anyone early on...lots of times before the show even starts airing and you see the contestant and the lead interacting...is that it sets people in their ways, particularly if we find out the spoilers. People become very territorial and start defending their turf. During the early part of the show, there are so many contestants and usually the time the lead has with them is very short and limited. It is easy for the producers and editors to fool us. Of course, the people who get the early dates usually have the biggest fan bases because they are the ones that are featured early on and that just sets viewers up to defend them and their relationship with the lead, even as the star starts developing other relationships. Same deal with those spoiled as F1 and F2. Once we are invested in that relationship...even though it has nothing to do with us and is a highly edited version of events...it is hard to let go and to see how the relationship is changing in regards to others.

This year Andi has done an excellent job of leading the viewers where the producers want us to go. Right from the start she had a bunch of viable candidates and she seemingly seemed to be really into all of them...Chris, Marcus, Nick and Josh. However, if you watched objectively, you could see the start of the disintegration of some of those "relationships". For me, she and Chris never got off the ground. As soon as I saw them kissing on their one and only date, I knew it was not happening....regardless if I knew spoilers or not. Marcus was the guy she was physically attracted to, but the further we got into the season, it was easy for me to see that he was losing ground to Josh and Nick. She really did seem into both Josh and Nick right from the start, but in the last few episodes, it seemed obvious that she was starting to tune Nick out and Josh was gaining momentum. But, I don't have a horse in this race...even though Chris was my favourite this season...and I am not invested in any relationship Andi decides to go with. I can see how the various relationships are changing and developing or disintegrating over time. I don't hold on to what she told someone that time at band camp and ignore what happened the last episode. I also remember that they have a show to put out and it is their job to say some things that they like about everyone to make it plausible for them to have multiple relationships. I try not to selectively hear it about my favourite, but ignore it when it is said about someone else.

As much as I appreciate knowing spoilers, I am most interested in just knowing the final four. It helps keep me focused on the important players and ignore the stupid, fake drama. It also helps me to watch the body language and interactions between them and the lead to see how the relationships change over time...because they do...some intensify and others disintegrate. While I do keep up with SM and what goes on post show, I really do focus on the interaction during the show the most. While it is edited, it is what TPTB choose to show us...and there is always a reason why. In the end, that is really how they tell the story...it is up to us whether we choose to see it or not.

If that vid was not out. I would not have a clue which one she picked.

WHen she is with Josh its Josh.  When she is with Nick its Nick.

WHoever had their last chance date that is who is F1.  Woudn't surprise me if she had to ask them to pick a number between 1-10. (hee hee)

I agree with this too. It would be interesting if I wasn't spoiled and hadn't followed the post show stuff on here. Since my favorites are gone, and I'm not that invested in Andi, I don't feel emotionally attached to any ending. I like her better with Nick personally, as he'd appeal more to me. I can totally see her attraction to Josh though. Most looking forward to tonight and ATFR with Nick.

It's okay to root for the person that you favor than the other. We are all different people, so naturally we see things different, our hearts yearn for a certain individual, we vary on what we likes, we adore certain things and so on and so forth. Whether, I read the spoiler or not, I will still choose Josh for Andi. If in the end, its Nick that will be the last man standing....I respect Andi's choice and I'll be happy for her that she found the one. It's because, it's her journey and it should be her decision and nobody else.


I have nothing against Nick...any woman will be lucky to have him. I think Andi will not go wrong with either Josh or Nick. It's just that I really like Josh's personality, love for his family, goofy, fun to be with , down to earth and as I can see on my TV....he's head over heels for Andi....that's why he's fast in talking because he's trying to keep up with what his heart is telling him to say it to Andi.

Here's the thing, Andi is 27/28 yrs. old and settling down might be in her mind even at the time that she's doing the Bachelorette Show. With Josh, some mentioned about the requirement to be at every football game where Aaron will be playing. Comments were made that it will be overwhelming for Andi to kind of dedicate their Sunday to be at Aaron's game. My take on this is that at least it's only seasonal and it'll be fun for Andi & Josh because of their love in Sports and when they have their own family.....football games are family oriented.

Now, with Nick.....my two cents is that 11 siblings, double that when they're all married, then kids comes along and not even mentioning his parents, grandparents & relatives on both sides. For me, this will be overwhelming in terms of birthhdays & holidays. Whether they like it or not, they're oblige to attend or send something. It might put a burden financially (travel/board/lodging) or pressure on their personal affairs as no more time to spare just for Andi & Nick. I think it's a lot to handle with Nick's family. How about Andi's family & relatives? I can just imagine the scenario of what will be the life of Andi & Nick if they get married. It will be a very, very challenging union......IMHO.

It's so fascinating to see how all parties are convinced that their guy is final 1 and have a list of why he's the final 1. It's obvious that one party (or maybe all) is in the wrong.
Hope when all is said and done, the losing team will congratulate the winner and vice versa.

I don't think all that many Nick fans are convinced he's F1.   

I'd be curious to know how many Nick fans even want for him to be F1???  :peanutbutter:

yeah, most Nick's fans (spoiled) aren't convinced of him being F1, but sure that doesn't stop us to have hope and believe in what we see is "real". We wish for him to be F1 since up till now (on the show) he's saying that she is his other half ... if that doesn't happen, it means she isn't the one, so the line for the future Mrs. Viall is already forming.

I'm surprised his Mother wasn't even a little bit disturbed by that remark. If you are looking for someone to make you happy, to complete you, be your other half you have no business getting married IMO.

I thought it was Josh before I was spoiled and I still think it's Josh. I've watched her protect Josh, Worry over Josh, Cry over Josh all the while throwing Nick to the wolves (guys). Or at least going along with the producers who were throwing him to the wolves (guys).

All I know is that he would be my choice by far and I only want to defend the fact that it appears to me from what we have seen that Andi did really care for him.

As a Nick and a Josh fan. I am okay watching the finale because I get to see both of these awesome men and they both seem fine now. I dreaded Des's finale because Brooks looked sad and tired all summer. I don't have that worry this time, so I am going to enjoy the hot man candy. Plus they bring more to the table then just good looks so it is a bonus.

The real challenge for me is to not get annoyed with Andi. Her "scene" with Chris irritated him. Just say you aren't into him and let him go. Quit making him try to make you feel better. You are the dumper, you don't get to be made to feel better. Another moment of Andi get over yourself for me!  (Thank you GA, this is exactly what this smilie is used for by me).
