Did Nick really watch every season of Bachelor/ette? Did he really know it inside out? He should have joined the board to learn TPTB dirty tricks.
Remember he has some wicked sense of humor and not everyone would appreciate it. That clip is kind of funny but also makes it hard for me to defend him. And the expression on Brian's face!I so wish the whole thing will be over soon for Nick and his family.

Yeah that's my problem, i can't defend him watching him say these things without splice and dice, it's him talking.
Nicky baby was lost on the show i guess.

Obviously Nick was feeling threatened and insecure, (I agree with alanna) it is a coping mechanism.

There is still a lot of show to get through. Smiley

Watched the video, still whatever about it. Yeah the comment about Josh is snarky and a little mean but still don't think any of this is a big deal. The guys keep saying Nick is fake and sneaky yet imo, that scene showed Nick being very direct and honest.

He flat out says to Brian that he's not interested anymore in this whole "good guy/gentleman" thing, that Andi is his priority and that he would not be happy for any of them to be with her and he's fine if they feel the same about him. What's dishonest about that. He again says that all he really wants to do is be with Andi, spend time with Andi.

And as for Brian's comments that he doesn't care about any of them, I'm sorry not to be the b-word but why should he? Are they or are they not there to romance Andi? Nick had never met any of these people ever, so why is it so important to know their whole back story and them his? They're not there to date each other. When the whole thing ends they never have to see each other again if they don't want to.

Also he clearly was paying some attention in his interactions with Josh since he knew enough to know his brother was playing football.

We have seen this in other seasons also where the lead has been played. I got a similar feeling of Bentley with Ashley though Bentley was way worse. It seemed like the other guys were onto this and felt that Andi was being played meanwhile (like Ashley) Andi is lapping up all the attention.
The producers have to get 1 guy who is willing to play. Each Bachelorette has to go through the baptism of fire. Sad.

Some see this as Nick being rude about his friend Josh. Well please remember Josh was part of the mean girl talk about Nick before he got back from SQT. Neither had the courtesy to actually say what they thought to each others faces.

Plenty of immature behavior to go around this episode.

Cecilia, it is okay if this makes you not like Nick, we are all free to our own opinions. Just like I think last nights boy bitching session was silly and over done, I find this silly and over done.

It is obvious these guys were ready to be away from each other. So much like Ashley's season. Her F6 were practically begging to get away from each other.

I think it just confirms that he was arrogant in front if the guys and it wasn't just editing. I still think he is sincere about his feelings for Andi because of that clip with his mom and the tears. But yeah - it must have been a defense mechanism for his insecurity, plus the exhaustion of the process. He's over analytical and Josh is not. One thing is that we don't really have them portraying anyone else in a negative light really but I'm sure there is footage of each of these guys putting their foot in their mouth. I think Nick did that a bit too much for them to ignore.

I still think Nick has a good head on his shoulders, judging by his tweets #lifeoutsidethebubble now he's back to the real world. Clearly no one likes group dates, even Josh, I guess they just reacted to it differently. I remember back in Brad I, Bettina's dad said someone has to be the bad guy after her horrible HTD. In this season, TPTB picked Nick, maybe them sensed his sarcastic humor could easily lost to others in such unnatural environment, or his way over eagerness to cooperate to get more time with Andi, who knows? Take another cue from the man himself: you have #takethegoodwiththebad. Nick I hope it's worthwhile and you have no regrets.

Yes, yes, ITA. But must he add he will have a dog named Murray? Not Josh but Murray!

That line was completely unattractive and a dig and not nice at all. Though I do think Murray sounds like a cool dogs name, Nick didn't mean it nice and I completely admit that.

Somehow dog name Murray doesn't bother me that much, maybe because the Murrays are dog lovers? Anyway, everyone is different.
Brian and Chris were not very likable last night, either. They whined too much. Good thing they are all friends now and Brian is very supportive of Nick.

i think one of the guys said he watched 2 seasons but not positive about that. nick said he watched des' season. however much he watched i think he only knew just enough to shoot himself in the foot. he should have taken his cue from Cat. she knew when to not get into house drama.
