... it had me wondering what Andi thinks of Cody now that she's seen the footage of "such a nice guy" ranting and bullying Nick at the Mime GD Cocktail Hour ???  Also, Nick's restrained response is so impressive....

Cody is an alpha male. He's not going to back down and let something go that bothers him.  I'm a Nick fan yet I think mocking Cody for being thankful wasn't a good move on his part.  

Andi most likely realizes none of the guys are perfect.  Emotions and drama are heightened because they have nothing else to focus on but Andi and each other.  I think now that filming is over she'll remember the good in each guy and appreciate their willingness to be part of her journey to find love.  

I too was impressed with Nick's response and that he apologized to both Cody and Andi for his behavior.  It will be interesting to see how Nick responds during the next episode.  

The press release says...when this suitor (Nick) arrives back at the hotel, another kind of explosion greets him, as one of the most contentious confrontations of the season erupts between him and the rest of the men.

From what has been shown thus far, Nick has been extremely controlled in his responses - while he doesn't take sh*t, neither does it look like he escalates a situation. He explains this situation and his position. Problem is - since he is very focused on moving forward with Andi - even at the expense of his relationships with the guys - they take offense at him. And yes, the initial reaction is to mask their jealousy by calling him names. But after they calm down, like in last weeks cocktail hour, they all said: I should have done what Nick did. And so I'm sure they really resent him. Because he did what they should have done

I'm actually very very impressed with Nick. It takes a very strong and focused individual to go for their goals and not care what others think. Personally, this issue is very relevant to me in my business life. I often step back in the name of being courteous (a gentleman), but I see and have seen that being courteous can easily take you one step back from your goals!

Nick to me is a very passive aggressive person, with a dry sense of humor, I can see where the guys would have a problem with him on the show... One thing about guys is, they can have a major disagreement about something within the next 30 minutes they are out grabbing a beer together, that's just how guys are.....

I agree. One of the things I remember from a few seasons back in CH's blog is that the producers encourage the participants to *take every opportunity* to spend time with the bach or bachette since their time is SO limited. I feel like I also remember him saying (not sure about this part) but that some guys/girls have shot themselves in the foot for trying to be overly fair/etc. to the other participants.

The only (major?) time I think Nick stumbled was on the mime date, not to make the best of the situation.

I haven't seen Nick become aggressive with any of the men.  He's aggressive in is his pursuit of Andi.  Which he's doing only because she's making it seem like she's really into him.

Definitely right Jen - on not making the best of the mime GD. Andi was right to say she wanted to shake him - I did too - it was a very adolescent pissy reaction. But I think he understood his mistake ... and man that he is, thanked Andi for bringing it to his attention.

I thought it was you that posted the deleted video today of CH visiting the guys in France encouraging them to take their opportunities with Andi. My first thought upon seeing this was - of course - that's why it was deleted, because it shows that the topic has been discussed. All the guys were warned, but only Nick heeded the advice. It puts his campaign to win Andi in a different light - makes him look smart and ambitious instead of conniving and selfish - things TPTB NEED to show in order to make their tricky nicky story work.

roserRED - I noticed in Nick's fan thread you mentioned that the clues that point to Josh are a stretch. I didn't want to hijack Nick's fan thread for any of you because it should only contain positive posts for you all, so I figure I would ask you here!

If you were a mother to one of the contestants on the show, and Andi broke your son's heart, left him at the "altar", chose another guy over him, would you be sticking up for and protecting Andi on social media? Not to mention, Josh's brother Aaron followed Hy Dorfman, two days after the FRC. Not sure I would do that if my big brother got his heart shattered by his daughter. I would love to hear your thoughts on this. I certainly don't think any of those clues, or the other bunch we have, automatically mean Josh is F1, but I would say those are better clues than what we have in comparison to her possibly being with Nick at the end of this or I at least wouldn't say they were a stretch, but that's just my opinion.

Not to mention you can include the spoilers, Nick's airplane video, and the snap chat incident where 100% they were both Josh and Andi's snap chats.

One of the reasons I like this forum (and the thoughtful posts on this thread in particular) is that people bring forth info that makes the show even more fun to watch. I had no knowledge of the Josh's mom stuff.

I'm still hoping that the plane vid is a Kimmel hoax  :con1: but I love that we can share insights, etc!

Perhaps, but past F1 have seemed to have far more "clues" so to speak.
