On another topic. Just watched the season premiere that Mura posted... and so it had me wondering what Andi thinks of Cody now that she's seen the footage of "such a nice guy" ranting and bullying Nick at the Mime GD Cocktail Hour ??? Also, Nick's restrained response is so impressive... I mean if that big guy was trying to get up in my face, I would have had a much more rash and emotional reaction.

Cody talks about Nick

Is Nick Viall really as much of a douchebag as he appears to be on the show?

Cody Sattler: Ah, you know, Nick -- I think Nick is his own person. He was a nice guy but I think he's just his own, own person.

I want to get your real thoughts on Nick, because we saw you guys share some choice words and there's obviously tension. Do you think he's there for the right reasons?

Cody Sattler: You know, Nick, I was really cool with everybody in the house. And I think Nick just -- he was the oldest one in the house. I think maybe he thought he had a little bit of a different position than everybody.

But, you know, Nick, I think just kind of had -- from my perception of him -- I think he just kind of had a bad attitude whether it was, "Hey, I don't want to see you guys going on dates," or, "I'm not all about a group date," or what not.

Just having that kind of negative attitude is something that I don't find too appealing and I don't associate with people like that. So, that's just kind of, yeah, my take on the situation.

Glad to see he calmed down since the show.
And for the record, I don't think Nick had a negative attitude; he was trying to stay focused on his relationship with Andi... and group dates and hearing about others guys dates didn't help.

^ yes she posted the email to show her grandmother's advice. I thought it was cute. And technically the grandmother didn't say she lived out of state so none of us would have even know that she was traveling with her mother if we didn't see the tweets or pictures

It's them who lived with him though, so they have a better perception of things than you do imo.
They'll all become friends and realize it's not worth it, be happy for the couple (if there's one) and move on just like Arie did. He's a class act.

Do you not think it may just have been jealousy? Negativity spreads like a plague, especially when you are all living in close quarters with one another. It seems Chris S, and Brian are getting along very well at this point with Nick. Even referring to him as "brother." I think this situation with Nick was blown way out of proportion.

Cody is an alpha male. He's not going to back down and let something go that bothers him. I'm a Nick fan yet I think mocking Cody for being thankful wasn't a good move on his part.

Andi most likely realizes none of the guys are perfect. Emotions and drama are heightened because they have nothing else to focus on but Andi and each other. I think now that filming is over she'll remember the good in each guy and appreciate their willingness to be part of her journey to find love.

I too was impressed with Nick's response and that he apologized to both Cody and Andi for his behavior. It will be interesting to see how Nick responds during the next episode.

The press release says...when this suitor (Nick) arrives back at the hotel, another kind of explosion greets him, as one of the most contentious confrontations of the season erupts between him and the rest of the men.

Cody also commented in the first half of his interview that it was Nicks attitude that killed him, that Nick was kind of in a tough position getting an early date, and that some of the guys did think Nick might have had a better connection with Andi than others had.

He was complimentary of Chris and Josh in his interview as well

No i think they did not like his attitude just that. And the way he acted in the house is sure to be different in real life because the setting is different.
But them getting along with him in real life doesn't mean that they liked how he acted in the house. Guys most of the time don't hold grudges and i like that from them.
I like Nick but i can see what the guys are saying.
