Chris' blog is very interesting. It really seems he's defending Nick.

He is because this is ultimately how they would like to see a contestant act: all full out for the main. break the rules(skinny dip) and do what you have to do to reach the finish line. 
I don't think this is an indication of F1 or F2 however, only that this is what TPTB want to see.

One of the things I loved in Nick's sneak away video:
He mentioned one of the unwritten rules being from a big family. (paraphrase) If you don't ask for something, you won't get it.  How true.  Doesn't mean you are definitely going to get it anyway, but it increases your chances!

i can honestly say my crumbs personified 1/3 in this ep. oh wait. i take it back. its Game Over Boys!!   

remember a Great Love fairy tale? required take and give.. mutual understanding..great effort from both parties. Andi made a bold move by giving him the HTD rose.

for the life of me, i cant understand how peeps cant see what NiAn have is in a whole different level than her relation w any of the other guys. Its in all aspects: emotional, mental, physical ( Andi's words, not mine ).

Whole different level, absolutely - in fact, not sure I've ever seen such unhinged passion portrayed on TV.

i really hope so. there is a strong reason why the editor chose to show Nick --out of all the 4 guys-- reactions to Eric tragic news in the preview. there is something about Nick's storyboard that seems 'crossing path' with Eric's passing. Eventhough i cant figure what it is exactly, yet.

im glad they showed us his Teary eyes PI on last epi. so real and honest. his talk w mom on next epi reminds me so much of my Prince telling his mom: Mom, i found the one!. it warms my heart . For peeps who believe spoilers of course he came off as delusional ( just as my Prince last season   ). but honestly we can only see 'crumbs' of What have been built in hundreds of hours of filming. i mean, the confident is not coming out of nowhere, right? . Andi must have told him a lot of reasons why he believed what they have is precious.

i also beg to differ to the opinion that  Nick is doomed to be slaughtered in the end. why? bc this season is dedicated to Eric. in light of : 1.showcasing a simple story of great love that Eric hasnt found in his life time 2. honor Eric life by showing: give it all; life with no regrets; give your all to me and i give my all to you   . 3. the real effect of Eric's passing to Andi, Nick and their relationship. JMOAA

to some extent, Nick look like a male version of Nikki to me : real, honest,no filter, confident, with inner tenderness. no wonder he get along really well with Andi   

Just to add a connection nugget: NiAN already playing  'Parenting Style' game while the other guys still immersed in ILY-falling in love- would you take me to my home..  .Really, July 28th cant come soon enough. :cutesmile!: (though i agree Elon, there is always Sharleen )

I don't watch the bach... so I can't comment on your Sharleen or Nikki references.
The teary eyed thing at the RC just killed me - whatever you want to say about his 'game' the guy has real feelings.
Also loved his humble-ness at receiving the rose on GD - saying it was a bold move from Andi... and how much he appreciated but didn't take it for granted... too sweet.
That he's found his other half   Kill me now!!!

Nutty, ia that Nick is ultimately a good guy and was in a ridiculous situation, and I know he's probably embarrassed now but he's helping fan the flames with stuff like his tweet last night. He just cannot quit while ahead.

But that makes things more interesting, don't you think?
This is not directing at you, but I feel frustrated defending my boy.

I like Nick a lot and I thought his antics last night were adorable. I love a guy who goes for what he wants and what he wants is Andi. I really found it hilarious the way the 3 guys complained and kept on attacking Nick because Andi chose to give the rose to him which I think was a bold move on her part. If it were me I might have been intimidated. I really love their talk about who's going to be the disciplinarian and Nick telling Andi she sucks because she would want him to be the bad guy when it comes to disciplining their children.

I really believe he's a geniune guy and so unlike how he was protrayed last night. I can't stress enough how much I like a man who pursues a woman he might be in love with relentlessly. I can't wait for the hometown dates. I also like that Andi gave a rose to Chris as I really want to see his farm. In the preview it made me laugh so hard when Andi said where she's going to get a job there and Chris said this is an opportunity to be a home maker. LOL! For some reason home maker and Andi doesn't go together, of course I might be being a bit judgmental.

Andi was with her last night as she has been other Mondays. Kelly obviously knows the ending and according to her tweets she hates Nick, she calls him bipolar and creepy. I went back reading through her tweets and she loves Josh, but not one complimentary word about Nick. I find it impossible to believe that if Nick was F1 she would be so condescending to him with Andi sitting right there with her.

He will have his chance to defend himself. I think the ATFR is going to be interesting to say the least. I feel bad for Nick because imo he is being led to slaughter. He might have watched every episode ever made but until you are in the bubble and experience the Fleiss machine first hand, you have no idea.   

This board is great because we can all have different opinions and express them. I certainly don't judge Nick, and I understand the how TPTB work. Most casual viewers don't.

I not only pay attention to edit (as awful as it might be) but I watch what is on my screen, not just the words being spoken. These people are not actors.

I love home towns because you can always tell what the lead and the final 4 are thinking. I remember with Des, she was so into Brooks, but I knew something was up with him. His body language spoke volumes. I also remember with Ali, (I am trying to just use bachelorette examples) her body language showed me she did not want to be there with Chris.

I hope the ATFR is not too bad for all parties concerned.
