If Nick is at the MTA, I don't think he will be in studio... He will probably fly to LA to be with the guys and party with them....

Agree, in fact it would backfire. They'd be defending Nick after watching the edit he's getting. I think they are defending him on SM already.

I think Nick gets at least as far as MTP, because on the plane video. I could see him not spending the night, because that's what Josh would want Andi to do. Whether she would comply is another story though. TPTB wouldn't want that because we've already seen it with Arie. I'm thinking it will be a normal F2 situation. As much as I'd love for RS to be wrong again and for Nick to be the F1, I don't see it happening. I read the Josh threads and there's just too many clues to call the sum total a foiler campaign. I think it may be true that she changed her mind at the last moment as Nick said. Nick was/is a match with far more depth, but Andi would have had the unspoken pressure from her family to pick the golden boy Josh. I hope I'm wrong. The only weird thing left is why they would want to villanize the F2. I can't recall them doing that before. They always want us (general public) to feel bad or even be rooting for the F2 at the FRC.

:hidingchair I've never thought the lead should test drive the last 2 (or 3) but in Nick and Josh's case, I could see them as being very different in the FS. Nick is more present in general than Josh. He's very aware and responsive towards Andi. As Andi says, vulnerable and sensitive. My guess is that it would be on another level with Nick, but maybe I'm biased because Josh doesn't do much for me. Remember when Andi said, I found myself just laying there wanting it to be over (with Jpabs) Surely she didn't sleep with Jpabs, right???)

Why in the heck didn't she just leave the FD with him early if it was so awful???   That whole thing was a total set up for her to be the next lead and it was the beginning of her character down slide IMO.   I hope whoever is the F1 is prepared for a woman that I think is pretty high maintenance. I still think we are in for some surprises....I hope so!

Question when is the finale and FS episode airing? I thought the finale was July 28th? Which would mean the MTA would air July 14 meaning it probably would be filmed the week or so before. It is usually filmed on a Saturday.

Based on this the July 17th, which is a Thursday does not make any sense to refer to the MTA taping. If the ATFR is being taped this year then that date might make sense.

Have you seen the picture of Marcus, Dylan and Chris in bed together?  I think Marcus was close with a number of the guys. If it's true that he was on BIP he may have been out of the loop for a while. He also seems close with Marquel.  :Nod:

I think the FD episode precedes the MTA so that the F3 person can attend  which means that the MTA will air 7/21.  So the July 17th date may be accurate as the guys would likely fly in that night for the filming to take place the following day.  I know someone who is attending the MTA.  I will verify with her.

I agree about Andi. Maybe I should join team Free Nick. I do think there is a better match for him out there. Every season, I mostly root for the spoiler to be wrong. We need several seasons to get rid of RS for good!

I hope so, but I'm not holding my breath for surprises this season.

I believe Nick & Andi have a really good relationship at this point.  If she has a better relationship, from her perspective, with Josh or a dark horse then that's her purpose and what she will follow through on.

FS related to Nick, I just don't see him going there unless she makes a point of making it more "real life" like she did in Venice by asking him out without a show date card. Hmmm, something cute like he walks her back to her suite and she invites him in for a nightcap   That would however leave the issue of other guys to follow but would make a difference.

As to what happens in a FS on any season, I think it's there to tantalize the imagination of the audience but could often be the "elephant in the room" for any final couple on any season.

Hello to all. I usually don't watch or follow TB, but last week out of boredom I opened one streamed link of episode 2 and got hooked. I practically watched all the episodes in 1 day, yes, it was one long boring day in bed and the only thing that made it OK, was McSalty, totally made me want to follow the rest of the season.

Anyway i remembered this forum, since some time ago I was exchanging views with some members (that I read here too, so shout-out to you, specially to Litta, Brill, MVMom46) about Ready For Love.
But back to the point - Nick - without him this show wouldn't be as appealing, because there would be no friction ... and whether he brings it with his attitude or is created by producers artificially with good edit, to me doesn't matter much, because I enjoy his behavior, attitude, posture, thinking, relationship he tries to build with Andy and at the end his post-filming SM "PR". I'm not as much "into" Andy, mostly because I haven't had a chance to really get to know her (like said, have never watched TB before, so apart from RFL reality-love-contest-show, I don't have much experience with it, but my 2 cents of understanding the production of such a TV show, I will give my opinion anyway).

I think the edit is giving ME the idea that Nick is not F1 - too much in the face, too much up-front, too perfectly paced narration, great mental connection, mostly said by Andy with words, but I rarely buy things that people say in "their confessions" (have
I got it, you abbreviate it ITM?) ... beside what I've read here so far, there is this video out there/here and many other indications (mostly the huge number of Josh's "fans" or Andi's fans that want her paired with Josh) that she has this "unexplained" attraction with Josh ... something "sadly" not shown as much as her psychological bond with Nick ... but shown non-the-less to know that there must be something more going on, that she wouldn't be kissing him so passionately if she wouldn't be able to have a nice conversation with him, and since the only reference I can give you by my past-show-experience, with RFL, the F1 was always criticized to not have build the mental, more-in-depth relationship, that it was always just pure physical attraction and well, one has to say it - THAT IS indeed what gives the couple a chance, specially in this context, where mind games are a MUST. So I don't want to go down the road to discredit Josh's connection with Andy, I even start to believe into the spoilers of him being F1, and I'm completely fine with it, because to me the only "show to watch" is Nick - his journey, his experience and his witty mind that so many people love to hate/criticize, stopping at the obvious appearances, cut-out lines, gestures that although completely justified, normal and genuine for a courtship are presented and even worst taken as "arrogant" and given as a demonstration of a man's personality who doesn't bond well with other men, who doesn't have many friends (these are some thoughts I've heard on one podcast), who shows to disrespect other contestants for putting THE GIRL first and not thinking about the feelings of other guys that are in the same "game" with him.

Beside what is really funny, ironic actually, Andy said that she wants a man who is liked by others, presumably she meant "liked by other men in the group, specially in this environment" ...
Nick is shown to be "the villain" of the season  ...
but outside ... in real world ... today ... time after the Final decision ...
he is most loved/searched/talked/appreciated/complemented contestant among the fellows of TB2014.
I really don't know what to think of all the spoilers, have some ideas, but are crazy to share, what I do believe is that he isn't F1 and that everything happens for a reason. Maybe he wouldn't be so appealing to me or to somebody else if the decision of the producers for this kind of edit would be different. But mischievous boys always have own allure.

Probably, once out of the bubble, the guys realized it was silly. He doesn't seem in short supply of friends. I agree that without Nick there doesn't seem to be much happening. Maybe they would have developed the storylines of the other guys. Who knows what more they had. Surely something else was happening with Marcus. Chris had his hand on her butt. We sure didn't see anything to jump them to that stage but there must have been more there too.
I could be wrong, but it makes more sense that Nick is included in the bromance if he F2. They may bond over the rejection they all experienced.

They will go out of order when something weird is happening. They had MTA before FD last season, because of the Brooks leaving. I can't remember if Ali's went out of order or not.
