I really think Andi is much more suited to an intellectual, analytical mild-mannered talker.  Interesting that she seems to go with her physical "take me now" attractions instead.  Maybe a defense mechanism against choosing someone who might really be a great life partner for her.

I disagree that she actually needs an intellectual, talker, etc. She is way too turned on by being grabbed and manhandled for it to be an act. She freaked out last night when Nick grabbed her and kept repeating that that's a MAN.

I think all she needs from Josh is confirmation that he loves her, that he'll be there for her, and will essentially never leave her, on the show or in life, and she'll be happy. All her anger, angst and drama was centered on that Josh isn't voicing ily when the others have already told her. If she really wasn't into Josh's strong ways with her, he would be out the door. She tried to pretend that yeah, she can get rid of him right now but actually instead continued whining and crying for days after her drama with him. That's not a woman who doesn't care and can take or leave Josh or how he acts with her.

Now if she engages in a power struggle with him once he does tell her what she needs to hear, then I'll agree that the relationship is doomed. However, right now I think literally all that's missing for her is ily and I think she'll be happy to give him control of the relationship as long as he continues to dote on her and pay her attention. We'll need to see them on the lcd and mtp, after I assume the ily, to see how Andi acts with him and talks about him to her parents.

I agree it's not an act at all.  My point is that maybe her MO is to choose that - the guy who turns her on the most, rather than the one who might be better suited to her - hence the reference to her needing to change her type.  Obviously just a fun mock-psychology game with a tv character version of Andi, but my opinion is the type of guy she'd be best with isn't here, he is a strange mixture of Marcus' telling her all the time how he feels, Nick's deeper more thought provoking conversation and Josh's macho confidence, with a side of intellectualism thrown in.    Maybe she should pick all 3.    Verbal communication seems a big issue to her.
