Now, that could all mean still just a friend, but I found it interesting...  

Agree JBF is great at catching the actual wording with what is shown. To add to what you said above I noticed when she was walking to her alone time with Chris we were allowed to hear her voice over she wasn't sure now she'd find her great love and husband from all this. Why it is interesting because the word husband has been heard so many times when Chris is shown.

Chris definitely won the fans last night from social media. Josh and especially Nick, are not getting a lot of love today from what I can see.

I actually thought Chris got a great edit last night. We saw him be so sweet with Andi and we found out he was the secret admirer, which people have been wanting to find out. I know people are 50/50 on Nick's actions last night, but I thought Chri's words were justified. It seems silly to us, but all of those guys are in an intense and unnatural environment. They know every talk with Andi is crucial for them, so the fact that Nick, who already had had 2 1-on-1's and seemingly had a great connection with her, decides to grab her away first, well I can see why the guys were upset. I know they're in it to be with her, but I think Chris was just saying hey, we all know what you have with her, why don't you let one of the guys who's really fallen behind get to talk with her first in case they don't have that time.

They've been showing Chris in a bunch of different ways this season and I really like him. IF RS is correct and Andi dumps him before the fantasy suite, then I totally see him being the bachelor 100%.

What I saw was Josh taking the idea of the lie detector test a little more personally than the other guys because he was the only one who had already been "grilled" by Andi (and even told that she suspects his "type" will cheat on her), and he thought they had gotten past all that on their 1 on 1, only to have the subject "rear its ugly head" once again. So I got why he reacted the way he did. And yeah, I actually think that the producers made sure that Josh would be on this date specifically to feed into Andi's fears about him. It was also interesting that one of the other guys mentioned that the one that really should have been on the date was Nick, since he's the one who is thought of as the least trustworthy by the other guys. Hmmm....

That really sets up the drama and dynamic for the rest of the season, which is clearly Josh vs. Nick for Andi's heart, with everyone else just filler, IMO. I think it's a no brainer why Chris and Marcus get HTDs instead of the other two: she still has the hots for Marcus, and Chris seems the most mature and most capable of dealing with rejection graciously (plus the producers probably did see him at that point as a better candidate for the next lead than the rest).

When I hear criticism of Andi for being such a brat or a bitch in how she's dealing with any of these guys and comments about how her reaction isn't "normal", well, no, it's not because dating on TB isn't normal. Her reactions are over the top and her emotions are excessive because she is being poked and prodded to achieve just that reaction. Would she handle dating a guy she really liked back in Atlanta the same way she is handling Josh? I doubt it. And while I have no clue if they will last in the real world, I don't think their current "feud" is proof that they won't. Deanna/Jesse and Jake/Vienna had no big arguments on the show that I remember, but did anyone think those relationships were solid? Anyway I'm sure by HTDs, Andi and Josh will have worked it all out, and he'll probably say ILY on the FDs. It's obvious that's what she's waiting for.

I still like Nick, but I just think he's one of those guys who is used to aggressively going after what he wants without worrying about being a "team player" or stepping on others' toes in order to get it. That's probably why he is so successful in his business dealings, but since this isn't a business setting, that attitude isn't flying with the other guys. Since he already had a rose, there really was no need to grab Andi away at the very moment she came through the door, even if the producers suggested it. Doesn't make him a bad person or equate to some huge character flaw, but it is part of who he is, and I don't think it can all be blamed on the editing. The fact that the other guys are all friends with him now just means that they're out of the bubble, no longer "in love" with, or "in competition" for Andi, and don't really care anymore about whatever happened. I know this is a sexist comment  :hidingchair , but I really don't think guys hold grudges about stuff like that the way some women do.

I didn't think Chris got such a bad edit. I'm curious what the reaction has been in SM about him, and whether the average viewer is Team Chris or Team Nick regarding their comments. It reminds me a little bit about the Jake/Wes situation on Jillian's season (hate comparing sweet Chris to fake Jake, however) where many fans thought Jake was just protecting Jill against the "villain", and it also ended up clinching him the next lead role. Maybe that's the way the producers are looking at it also?

Don't post much (love reading though), but I wanted to tell y'all what my husband thought, who does NOT watch the bachelor. I made him watch because we spent our honeymoon in Venice, so thought he would enjoy the travel porn. His take: He thought Nick was creepy - notices how shifty his eyes were when he was professing his "love" to Andy. Said, "he's bull sh*tting her totally, no guy says that crap." He thought the lie detector test was ridiculous and cringe worthy and that he would be pissed in that situation. His opinion on the guys on that date, his favorite was Dylan (maybe he sympathized due to the AWFUL questions asked and answered), second - he really liked Brian, said he seems the most genuine, but got a total friend vibe, no love from Andy, had no opinion of Chris at that time, but liked the way he handled JJ regarding the rose issue, said JJ was a complete dweeb and should be gone, thought Josh was not ready for a relationship, but then said he thought Josh was the most like Andy, which could be bad or good. He felt sorry for Cody and said, "Who would subject them self to this sh*t show." (Verbatim quote and quite true, LOL). At show end, he said that he thinks they are editing to make it look like there is more drama going on than in real life. He actually liked Andy, thought she was smart and feisty, but when I asked him if he thought she is pretty, he said, "Yeah in an across the tracks kind of way." Ha. I guess he doesn't like the side boob look either. Ok that's it - from a man's perspective.

I have a feeling, looking at sm clues, that Josh and Andi post show are doing just fine.    

Agree with everything and great point about comparing Chris to Jake.  I think they are setting him up for the bachelor.

I also wanted to add that when Nick told Andi he loved her or was falling in love, his eyes shifted and he looked down. I thought this was weird and telling.   

I have no favourites. I see Josh, from epi 1 as wanting to win this competition. If all the guys had to take a lie detector test, why is Josh questioning whether Andi trust's him or not. He wasn't the only one that had to take the test. If someone questions an issue regarding trust, if you are totally innocent, then you have nothing to worry about. If you're defensive, then you're possibly hiding something. Maybe that's just what my own personal reaction would be.

He is the only one that got the suit of armour shot though! I can't remember what the question was, maybe it was, "are you here for the right reasons"? music, suit of armour shot. Maybe someone who has the ability to re watch that part can let me know.

As far as Nick taking Andi for alone time first, this happens all the time. Even though he had a rose, I say go for it. Whether it's man code or not, he obviously didn't care. Josh whined he wanted to take her aside too, so why didn't he? He had the same opportunity, as did everyone else.

I just mentioned this in another post! I also noticed that Nick did not look at Andi when he told her he loved her. This was very telling to me.
