There is indeed a story arc for Nick:
1) from sceptic to believer
2) from genuine, honest, modest, cute, sweet guy that catches Andi's eye right from the start ... to the most hated guy in the house, said by them, a guy who doesn't show true colors to Andi, a guy who deceives, stragegizes, an arrogant, cocky and salty Nick
... and then we have to see a redemption of some kind.
3) inner struggle of Andi can she trust own gut feelings, that what she see is who he really is.
4) A guy who was not desperate to find love, but wants to find it, possibly together with the girl ... will he find it or not?

It's very much Nick's season ... and Andi's
these two are the main characters that everything goes around
it would be too obvious that he could be F1
getting so many 10n1 dates, all important roses, extra time alone with her ...

and then comes the spoiler ... what a boring season would it be without it...
nobody would be interested to fight and dislike.

I respectfully disagree. I believe the main story arc is with Josh and we will see more of that tonight.    Being disliked by the other men in the house is not a story arc of the main characters. Just a flaw. Andi already trusts Nick and has, but with Josh it has been an ongoing theme.

to add a lil nugget on point 1 ) : on going theme, the last, huge obstacle to overcome : his fear of the failed enggament in the past. Pookie must work hard to turn him into an enggament's believer, yet alone a TV enggagement. and no..its not for him to be a dumpee in the end. certainly not

Really? Hasn't he already told Andi he is going to marry her? Not to mention his speech to Marcus about getting married to Andi on a hill top and their dog Murray.

One thing that bothers me about Josh (I am a Nick liker all the way - maybe not for Andi but I think he is so interesting to listen to - so mature) getting back to Josh - why doesn't he seem the least bit vulnerable ? He doesn't seem to doubt whether Andi is going to pick him. Does he care ? He says he is falling for her - but yet says he too would like to have more time with Andi (this was a pre RC time) - well why doesn't he get up off the couch and seek her out ? Is he protecting his feelings - is he afraid to put himself out there and then be dumped - is that why he is so cautious about letting her know his feelings ? He just seems kind of blase about the whole thing. Taking the safe approach ...

It actually fits in with the preview and Nick talking with Andi about his past relationships on the beach.
"I glorified the relationship" "I have lied to myself"
So he's putting his fear out there for her to address.
And once again, it's her opportunity to give Nick confirmation about where she's at, the confidence to continue forward... as they inch closer to their union!!
Exposing their mutual fears to find bliss.... BRING IT ON!!!!

Andi mentioned her family has a lake house in Alabama. Am I the only one that didn't know that? I thought it was in Atlanta. Or did I not hear that right.

Maybe that was a SH location for her and her F1.

  I think emusha laid out a really really awesome analysis of Josh's archetype of being the strong silent type in another thread... I think Josh's showing us all he has, and it would make many women happy... but is it enough for Andi???? time will tell?

I suspect there is a lot more to show of him! 
I am not pleased with how TPTB are portraying him, but that's how they are and how the show is. 
The guys seem to like him and his family seems very nice so I suspect there is a lot we are not seeing. JMO
