There's some discussion in josh's threads. Since this is a fan thread maybe I shouldn't explain. Even though I still like him. Some of these clips are making it a little bit difficult.....

Ah Nick, he is my bittersweet chocolate. Smooth to the tongue and so addictive.  No need to grate him into pieces; better to take him whole and savour.

I have reasons:
- several of the guys who questioned his intentions in the clips and scenes we have seen yesterday, today or even earlier came to his defence (twitter: Dylan, Brian and not involved Nick V & JJ   IG: Marquel). These are all great men so if they are sending a strong positive message about Nick in the real world then he is in real life their caliber of people.
- this man would make a wonderful lover; in turn gentle yet not hesitant to get a wee bit forceful (salty & sweet all in one package).  He is sensual and attentive in the moment.
- he freely shares his thoughts and emotions even when she doesn't reciprocate.  In this way, he's not that guy who keeps track.
- he stands his ground without leaving an argument in angry.  Over and over again at the end of it all, he concludes calmly.  He doesn't yell, throw accusations back at them about their behaviour, or walk out before the argument is done.  He sticks with it until some sort if resolution occurs.
- he's very intelligent and inquisitive. He was the only guy who talked about the beauty of the architecture in any detail. Love a man who sees culture as more than food, drink, and physical activities.
- he's not afraid to cry.  Didn't wipe away his tears or stop talking.  Just sees it as a normal emotion.
- he understands that relationships take time to build and require effort.  He not only says this, he does this. He is a man of his word - no false proclamations.

All these things far outweigh his flaws and I think away from group dates and guys talking about their dates with the same girl, Nick would be even more calm and caring.  The guys who supported him on SM on Monday describe him as genuine.  That is a huge compliment and one each of the guys felt a need to make public.

They should join this Nick fan thread   .  So nice to have a sanctuary from negative Nick comments.

I agree notarose, beautifully stated summary of the positives of Nick, which I too think out weigh the negatives. My dad's favorite thing to tell me when I was young was that there was one perfect person in this world and we hung him on the cross. The rest of us just do the best we can. No one is perfect, but when your good so out weighs your bad, you are on the right side of things.

Strange that no one has ever mentioned that Nick was never in a scene on the show or on any other released clip where he is sitting with 1 or more guys judging whether a person is there for "the right reasons" or "playing a game".  
All that is only of other guys talking about i re: him or someone else.  The first were Andrew & Marcus, then JJ & Josh (about Andrew), now ABC has a clip of Josh & Marcus.  Plus there are all those group scenes of the guys talking about Nick and his strategy which is really then strategizing about what they think Nick is doing.

i dont really enjoy get immersed on why, how these grown A$$ men do or dont do something, for we see only about 5% of what truly went down BTS.  TPTB only show us the footage what they want us to see.

I love to put thought more on why and how the Puppet Master doing his act in showcasing any cast's role.

If i have to state only 1 single reason why i like Nick, that would be : i like him just because...this season would be a dull, a snoozefest without him   

Too funny that if we observe closely, Andi has always eliminated the guy who confronted or being vocal about Nick right away or soon after. First Andrew and Patrick, then Codi..then Dylan (in his PI and interupting act at ep.6 cocktail party at least) and Brian (his PI of ep.7).

By this reasoning, Marcus is next to go since he was the one who 'confronted' Nick and being vocal about him on last episode and on the new deleted scene. We shall see!...

goes by my own silly elephant theory : elephant in the room, could translate as elephant of the season. He was the FIR and we shall see him with FR as well. It was Nick from beginning to end and all the rest was filler.

ETA. forgot to add,,, as the F1 Nick has no 'use' for TPTB any longer....no wonder they released the deleted scene and create silly drama surrounding him for the sake of rating. Boy, they get what they want, do they?..... :P

i have said it before, im gonna say it again. IMO Nick is the male version of Nikki (with his confidence, dry humor, no filter, no BS style and all). No wonder he hit it off with Andi right away and so well
