Episode 3 - Nick got the first one-on-one date. Andi was impressed by Nick and was really looking forward to their date. It’s really interesting to see these men melt into nervous little boys when they get around Andi. We saw it with Josh last week, and we now saw it with Nick. Is it just me, or does Andi seem to have deeper more meaningful conversations than many Bachelorettes have in the past? Nick and Andi shared an incredible evening. He easily got the rose but more importantly, got his first kiss.
I remember watching that night and feeling bad for Eric as he finally got some solid one-on-one time with Andi only to interrupted by a flower delivery man. Nick took it upon himself to send Andi flowers. I can’t believe as long as we’ve been doing this show that Nick is the first person to send a woman flowers. It was a great move and it made a huge impression on Andi. Well played, sir!

Episode 5 - Andi's falling in love - The episode started with me sitting down with her at a little street corner cafe. She was in really good spirits to start the week as she admitted to me she’s falling in love. The only issue is that it was happening with more than one person. I know it’s an odd thing to say, but it’s what happens when you come in and really open yourself up to the possibilities, like Andi has.
The real interesting part of this date was at the after party. First came the issue with Nick. The guys have had a problem with Nick for a little while now. For some reason he just rubs some of them the wrong way. I’ve seen this before on the show. Either Nick is just too arrogant and shoves his successes in everyone’s faces, or there’s just a little bit of jealousy towards someone that’s clearly getting attention from Andi. Either way, he’s not the most popular with the guys and this isn’t over yet. Andi could sense the drama at this party and it definitely ruined the good mood she was in. She said it on the show and told me later as well when really nice guys like Chris and Cody speak up she feels like she should listen, but for now she’s going with her gut and sticking with Nick. JJ got the rose on this date and this didn’t seem to sit to well with Nick.
Episode 6 - Andi met the boys in Venice and let them know the week would start off with a one-on-one date immediately. Most of the guys assumed that Cody would get it as he was the only guy left who hadn’t received a one-on-one yet. Much to Cody’s chagrin, Andi decided to give Nick the first date this week. Andi had some unresolved issues with Nick that were lingering from last week. Some of the guys Andi really believes in let her know that Nick wasn’t the most popular guy in the house and she was a bit worried about that. I think she took Nick on the first date this week to get to the bottom of that. The situation with Nick is one that I see a lot on the show. At what point are you just being bold, strong, and looking for love and at what point are you being rude or disrespectful? Nick hasn’t shied away from anything he’s said or done and completely owned up to it with Andi. If he’s denied it or acted like he was being bullied, it would have been a disaster for him, but instead he’s open and honest and flat out told Andi exactly how he feels. As you saw, Andi loved it and it only got deeper and better from her perspective at the rose ceremony. Nick and Andi have something strong between them, and he easily got the rose.
It was a surprise to the guys that Nick jumped up with a rose already on his chest and grabbed Andi first. As the guys put it, a total “Nick” move. But herein lies the problem: Did you see and hear Andi’s reaction? She loved it and said “that is a man.” So why wouldn’t Nick be this bold? When I sat down with Andi in deliberation it was the first time I’ve seen her doubt herself and this whole process. She wasn’t in a great place. I think it was a combination of her troubles with Josh and the guys having such an issue with Nick. These are two guys who were very high on her list and now she’s not sure what to make of either one of them.
Episode 7 - What really stood out on this date and the entire week is Nick. He is somehow forefront on the minds of all the other guys. He has rattled their cages. The big question is, is this intentional? And if it is intentional, do you care or should you care? The guys complain of Nick scheming and strategizing, but is that wrong? Some have said I was defending Nick and his actions. I’m actually not. It’s not really my place to take a side on this. I just find it incredibly interesting to see the reactions from the guys but also getting to see and hear Andi’s reactions.
You see, the guys are sick of Nick’s antics, but Andi is eating them up. She can’t get enough of this guy and loves how he takes charge and makes their relationship happen. Sneaking to her room, stealing time and kisses, it’s all working exactly as intended. He’s wooing her. Now what I would take exception to is if I felt he was being dishonest with his intentions with Andi and felt he was using her in some way. I don’t feel that way at all. I felt the entire time that Nick’s intentions were true and his feelings were real.
So now it’s up to you to answer the question on if you dislike the way Nick is going about this. When he got back from the group date wearing the rose and riding high the guys went after him. Do you think they have a legitimate beef here or were they just jealous of a guy who had a game plan of trying to get the girl and is executing that plan to perfection? What isn’t up for debate is the fact that Nick is not a popular guy right now. But what also isn’t up for debate is that he loves Andi, she really likes him, and he’s got a hometown date.

The amazing thing about Nick and Andi is how in synch and supportive they are:
Nick comes to Andi's door in a panic and she responds with her heart pounding.
Nick tells Andi he has insane thoughts - that he wants to marry her; Andi tells him 'good' and then proceeds to kiss him ... and talk about the one word that describes their relationship - passion. - mentally, emotionally, physically.
On the GD Nick tells Andi that he will tell his family that he wants to marry her... and she rewards him with the group date rose.
Nick interrupts Andi's cocktail discussion with Brian and although she acknowledges it puts a target on his back, she also says in her blog it's not about roses anymore, but relationships.
Nick’s logical nature seems to soften Andi’s fiery nature and vice versa - they enhance each other in a very profound way.
Every vulnerable step Nick takes towards Andi is met with encouragement. There is no hesitation or hiding, just open hearts and love....

I came here mostly to comment after seeing Nick and I got so excited by one guy on this whole show to want to talk about it with someone, that it really threw me off when arriving here I've seen that he isn't as "loved" as I expected ... I mean I get that not everyone likes the same guy .. after all that many guys to choose from, sure there will be different "fans", but to me it seems like the whole "spoiler - video thing" made everyone go in extreme directions ... not everyone off course ... but very vocal part (not just here on this forum)
please admin. no need to delete this, right? - I'm not negative, just a bit sad, I actually like for people to get along even with their differences.
My "defend mechanism" is wearing off (and I'm quite fresh here, so imagine those who are here from the beginning - hat down to all of you).

Nick is an acquired taste. I suspect that most of the Nick fans have had a bf that brought the same intensity and/or brought it out in them. He's not drop dead handsome, so it's a kind of wow that catches you by surprise. For me, it was my boss when I was 25! :hidingchair :giggle: I was surprised when Nick got the FIR, but I see the attraction now :Drool: and kudos to Andi for digging a little deeper.
As far as the board, just temporarily "foe" those that upset you until the season is over. It gives the mods less work.

I do wonder if she has had any talks with Andi about the show and her inane grilling of Josh?
At this point, I am Team Sharleen & Nick, much more than Team Nick & Andi.
Sharleen is smart enough and confident enough to get him and also mature enough to not care if all the other guys love him!

Not to make comparisons 
but I see a real difference in the body language between Nick and Andi vs. Josh and Andi. With Nick they are both leaning in, engaged and participating. When I see Andi with Josh, he often takes a lounging position where he's not facing Andi, but leaning back waiting for her to come to him, more of a power position.
