I have a feeling that Andi didn't want to "waste" the relatively unromantic dates stateside on Josh.  She wanted a fully romantic date, which this one appears to be, to be her first one on one with him.  She wouldn't have had to know when that was going to be, or where, but all she might have said to production was that she wanted a super-romantic date with him wherever that might be.  And they appear to not need adrenaline to get their connection started, so tptb obliged.

Agreed!  Seems like the most romantic date yet!

Yes    JoDi first 1-1 in the "City of Love"  Very romantic and memorable.

I keep thinking that she is wasting that date in Venice. I have wanted to go to Venice forever, and the masked ball thing looks so cool. And she is with Nick.  :vomit: Total waste of romance for me!

Thank you for posting these, Steel! I just watched the first one from Week 1, and have to say that when Andi is doing the PI/ITM, whatever it's referred to as, where she talks about having to keep an eye on him, etc., she seems to have this gleam in her eye and in her smile, like she already knows that he's ok to trust, to let her guard down and fall for him. Anyone else think so? I don't know when it was actually filmed in relation to the M&G, but it could have been one filmed much later in the process.

Also, I watched the deleted scene again and realized that I find it cute when Josh bites his lip.
