I'm an avid MLB and NHL follower - I follow stats more than I should admit, so this is no dig on sportstalk. But one more full conversation of the same thing and I'm moving on to Nick as my F1.

And saying that he quit because he wanted a family life doesn't mean he was interested, at 22, in immediately becoming a husband/father.  IMO, it means he didn't want a life on the road where one rarely saw one's family, be it parents and siblings, or spouse and children, or in his case, both eventually.

I also don't see someone who began in the minors at 17 not making it to the major leagues by the age of 22 as a failure/loser.  Had he stayed healthy, maybe he would have in a year or two, who knows?  There are guys (probably some of the ones he played with) who spend 10-15 years in the minors until they are in their 30s (Bull Durham, anyone?).  These guys are most likely never going to get called up to "the show" and they are certainly well aware of it but continue to play anyway, as long as a team will have them.  Josh does not fall into that category.

Problem is the producers always dwell on just one topic that is a problem for the lead.  I got tired of them harping on JP's not wanting to be hurt again, Emily's loss of a fiancé, JPG's finding a mother for his child.  I'll take sports talk but would love for the producers to show us more than one side to an individual.  Surely Andi and Josh has talked about his current career on their date.

Surely they have, and will.  This show is all about    when it comes to certain contestants/topics.  

Maybe Andi really was leaning heavily towards picking Nick, but in the very end, realized that what her heart truly wanted was Josh, and she really could trust/believe in him beyond his having been a former "jock" and as such, the type she fell for who would be wrong for her and who would hurt her in the end.  I don't believe she just went back to what she was used to as Nick mentioned in his video...she gravitated to what she was most attracted to, and what she believed would make her most happy. (I am reminded of her post show interview wherein she said something to the effect of not everyone is the same in a particular type.)  That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.    And if that isn't Andi's story, then I guess I will find out on July 28th, which isn't soon enough!

No doubt that there is a lot of sports talk.  However, I think it is something they have in common as Andi is also an athlete.  In addition, Andi often is the one who brings up the topic.

IMO, I think Andi intentionally keeps the conversation focus of him being a "Jock," and why he hasn't dated in 5 years.  I really think that Josh is getting a F2 edit.

What I find interesting is if they talk about other subjects and we are deliberately not being shown those conversations. 
Remember what she went off on JPG about--him not asking her and knowing things about her---her values, her faith etc.
So I will be interested in seeing TPTB show any of this indepth convo with Josh. I am sure they will be, if they have not already, been having these convos--so I will be interested in seeing if we are allowed to see these.
If we aren't shown the convos, it's putting her in the same pot/kettle as JPG.
