I haven't read this whole thread, but I think how the episode ended was terrible. CH and Andi obviously filmed this much later after Eric died, and I thought it was in bad taste. I agree it was good not to show the cocktail party and the RC, but.....

I still don't see why Eric said what he did, but maybe he could not adjust to her dating the others and trying to get to know them. I think his ego could not deal with it. JMHO

I don't think it was his ego that couldn't handle it. He seemed to be a very humble and modest guy given the impressive resume of achievements and generous things he had done in his life thus far. I think maybe he had a different idea of what the filming of this show was really like based off of his experience filming his own reality tv show. His show was more of an "authentic" reality show filming his travels around the world as they happen spontaneously and I am assuming he went into the Bachelor world naively thinking it would be similar.
I think he wanted to get to know the real Andi and maybe was taken aback by the "inauthentic" nature of the filming of this show and how Andi was playing along with it.

M--melted down to the point she never could read her cue cards. Needed remedial reading. 

There would have been an issue with Meandi regardless of Eric's passing. The last thing we as the public need to do is blame the backlash on Eric's death. Isn't the fact he died enough?

Look at the pictures on Eric's thread and tell me she doesn't look like she flew off the handle and he didn't.

I had to look for it, because I too don't read the tweets on epi night of the former/contestants.

He was an ass to Drew also, forwarding tweets about him that some of the Bachelor family did to name just one.

I would not put anything past him.

How is this man a director on a major network? There are so many things wrong with what he thinks is funny.

In my honest opinion, neither is to blame. I think Eric had a hard time trying to explain what he meant and Andi does not seem to like criticism, but who does? I sure don't! I guess both could have handled it a little better....

Here's my suggestion to tptb- if they really want to pay tribute to Eric Hill, sponsor a "Bachelor Gives Back" event and donate the proceeds to the philanthropic foundation associated with GoWithEric.
