Sorry, Nutty. Definitely don't see any similarity between Nick & Jef but then I'm not a fan of Jef at all and I really like Nick.

I see no similarities here. I think people say that because Nick has a a bit of a hipster clothing style, other than that, these two are nothing a like. I found Jef repulsive from the start and never warmed up to him.

I thought I wouldn't like Brooks because he reminded me of 1f at the beginning, but I warmed up to Brooks.

It's so interesting because now that I've seen people mention the similarities, I can definitely see why people compare Nick and Jef... especially personality wise. Yet for some reason, I was very attracted to Jef and I'm not attracted to Nick at ALL... It's so funny how that happens! I guess I'm not very consistent with my "type" because this season I have a huge crush on Josh   

I am so long past finding anything attractive about Jef (we know too much about him now) ... but I do still see attractiveness in Nick. And I think Nick is a LOT more straightforward in the ways that matter most, and less of an opportunist (although time will tell).

I guess they are both the quietly confident, non-athletes, softer face types of guys ...

Nick was a college athlete (track) and unless his family - with 11 children- is super rich, he could have gotten a track scholarship or perhaps it was scholastic. Also, Nick is much more forth coming. After watching Jef for a whole season, I still don't much about how he thinks, nothing about his past relationships, etc. I know more of those things regarding Nick in 4 epis.

I think I am just starting to piece Nick together a little. First off, he is a rich guy - if I am not mistaken he is a Software Sales Director/Manager - uhm, depends where and what software he is making bucu bucks. He is confident and very sociable - you don't get to be a sales director if you don't have conversation and marketing skills. Also as a director he has notable leadership skills which makes me go hmmm. He is probably someone who is not openly authoritative (in your face) like Josh, but someone who is quiet but respected for the talents, skills and often charm they bring to the table. Can I just say WHOA - my ideal man. #notfangirl-ing

Nick attended U of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. He may have had some sort of scholarship for track, but it was a also in state, therefore not hugely expensive and absolutely commuting distance from his parents' home.

RS said he's loaded. If so, that would possibly be from his own hard work. Hard to know exactly what RS considers "loaded". Now Chantal (or at least her family) was loaded. Until I see hard evidence, I'm going to say Nick is "comfortable".

He's a sales accounts manger so he would manage a team. I agree on your assessment however have no inkling as to wealth - highly paid for sure. He's definitely collaborative as Coach Brian was fully in charge. All the Rosebuds were team players that respected Brian's authority - he called the shots. On the other team, Chris seemed to be the teambuilder.

Well I am glad Nick may be loaded or whatever but I wish he would use some on new pants. Those blue manpris at the airport was not cute.

I'm NOT going to RS's site even though I'm curious.  RS seems to really have targeted Nick as his one to hate on for this season.  blah

What proof did RS give for his "loaded" statement?  
I do believe Nick is in a high income bracket but like Chris downplayed his farming operation when talking about it to Andi, I think Nick has that same trait.
