Bachelorette 10 - Andi Dorfman - Episode 3 - Sun - Jun 1/14 *Spoilers & Sleuthing* - Discussion

I thought the episode was entertaining for the most part.

Nick's date was pretty boring. I was expecting more. The conversation at dinner was really good though. You could see on Andi's face that she was LOVING what he was saying and I was too... LOL. She looked intrigued, interested, attentive, and looked to really appreciate and relate to what he was saying. I liked that. The tower scene was good too. She was really intense while kissing him and seemed to enjoy it. A lot of people can't see their connection/chemistry but she keeps saying they have one. I see it. It's quite subtle though. Not to in your face which I really like.

The day time part of the group date was hilarious! Nothing more to say about that! Oh, yes, there is, actually! Eric CAN carry a tune! He really is good at everything! I actually thought he sounded better then Bradley..The night portion was interesting. The prank on Cody was funny. I actually think Cody is quite nice. It seems like the guys like him...so...? The lead up with Eric tonight started with last nights episode probably. He seemed curious and worried about the "process", so to speak. Marcus and Andi seemed connected. She was saying how she wondered how he felt because he stays in the background. Shows she's interested. I didn't really care that Marcus said that he was jealous or he thought he had a stronger connection to her, honestly. It's not like those words are a foreign concept on this show. A lot of people say that. At least he can admit that he's jealous and not act like a little boy about it. Plus, if what he said came off bad... Ha! That's the least of our worries on this dam* show! Josh and Andi were connected as well. They REALLY wanted to suck each others face off! LOL. They obviously have a lot of chemistry but we haven't really seen in depth conversations. Only him saying he's nervous around her and her not believing him and that he's a jock. That's it. Chemistry isn't enough in a real relationship. They are cute though.

JJ' date was fun. She didn't want to truly kiss him though. That seemed obvious. I did like their dinner conversation though.

The cocktail party was fine too. Poor Eric getting interrupted. He was such a cutie pie. I can never not stop looking at his dimples though. They're distracting! SO cute! Nick V was adorbs with the flowers! He is really creative AND got two things done that have never been done on the show before! The date card thing AND the sending of flowers! You could tell Andi really liked that gesture. Sweet. The time with Marcus was honestly awkward. I wish they would've edited that part out. It just seemed unnecessary and his note paled in comparison to Nick's note and flowers. LOL. It strange, because the first two episodes he seemed to care less about Andi and the "process" and then all of a sudden he becomes "Mr. I care!" and another sap a la Chris and Josh. Weird. I hope that stops honestly. I liked when it seemed like he wasn't invested. LOL. The drama with Andrew... Don't really care.

The RC. Didn't mind the two that left.


I do have to say though, I wanted more Chris last night! He was severely missing! I actually missed his "Andi is the most amazing woman in the world!" lines.. Haha!

I don't see Marcus being arrogant at all. First of all, you can never really know when these PI actually happen because TPTB slice and dice conversations so much. Maybe it happened later and they put it in now.....who knows. Besides I look at what Marcus said as similar to what Chris said about not caring so much about the other relationships because he trusted what he and Des had and how strong their relationship was. I think Marcus is adorable and should be the next Bachelor....JMO.   

I don't see the two comments as the same.  Marcus indicated that he was upset about not getting the rose and compared his relationship with Andi to Josh's with her by stating that he knew his relationship was much stronger (than hers with Josh).  

He maybe right since he gets the next 1 on 1 date after his and Andi's first kiss.  That didn't happen with Josh after his first kiss.  What did Andi tell Marcus when he told her he wanted to kiss her?

"It's about time!".  He was very sweet to ask one of my favorite moments last night..

He didn't ask. All he said was "I have to say Ive been wanting to kiss you for awhile" and she said "bout time" and then they kissed.

From CH"s Blog and my same question.  If you claim to care for Andi someone should have pulled Andrew aside a long time ago to discuss it.  This is what Josh did as soon as he found out.

There was some drama during the cocktail party surrounding Andrew. There’s a bit of a disagreement as to what happened but here’s how I see it: Andrew hit on a waitress and got her digits, then bragged about it to all the guys. Or a waitress shoved her number in Andrew’s hand and he mentioned it to the guys but he’s not sure why anyone is even talking about it. [b]Either way, here’s my question for the boys: If it’s such a big deal and it bothered them so much, why didn’t anyone say anything the moment it happened? I look forward to getting to the bottom of this at The Men Tell All special.[/b]

One last nugget from the Andrew incident. Josh delivered one of my favorite lines that a guy can ever say in an argument: “I’m a grown-ass man!” I’ve heard this many times over the years and it never ceases to leave an impression on me. For the record if you have to tell people you’re a “grown-ass man”, well…

I need to re-watch parts of the episode. My family was distracting me. Thing is, I'm not really sure how important this episode is in the overall storyline ?

It's important in tonight's storyline (Eric's). Some of the stuff he said/asked made it seem like he was curious and unsure of the "process". It's a two night event for a reason! It continues on!

There is no evidence that the guys who knew did or didn't already give Andrew a talking to. All we know is that the issue was brought up again and edited into the show.
It's possible 1 or more of the guys already gave Andrew a piece of their mind but it wasn't dramatic enough to air.

JJ brings the matter to Josh's attention, and then when they bring Andrew out to talk about it amongst the three of them, I was expecting JJ to begin the conversation since he was there, yet he didn't, and Josh did most of the talking. That is, until Andrew walked away and then JJ was hot on his trail all the way to the bedroom.
