3 days a week .. 12 hr days .. is a very common work schedule for nurses

I have never ever heard of nurses having to stay within a certain area on their days off .. Unless they are on-cAll .. for which they get paid for .. But definitely not on a non on-call bases

My daughter is a nurse and her schedule is 4 days..10 hrs per day . Yes they have to stay within a 30 minute drive to the hospital when they are on call otherwise it is their own time. I think that Nikki works longer hours to be able to take more time off. I also think since summer is usually a very busy time she is working other peoples shifts to make up the time they were their for her. I know my daughter has been very busy and has had to work longer hours this summer .

So…the forum experts on here are saying that they broke up? They're still posting photos of one another but it's probably just for show. An illusion right?

biglove4, that's certainly not what I'm saying. It's the lack of momentum I'm talking about, in that there they're spending much LESS time together, not MORE.

Frankly, I don't see why anyone would bank on their success until there is a monumental and MEANINGFUL show of commitment, such as Nikki packing up and moving to Miami. Hopefully, that will happen, but it hasn't yet, has it?

It could be they are testing their relationship, trying to figure out if their feelings of one another are the real deal. But that would be a showing of uncertainty and, if they're not certain, why should we be?

I seem to recall that Molly was praised for maintaining a long distance relationship with Jason while they worked things out.  In each case there was a lot of negative media attention and a child involved.  How is this so different?

I hope Nikki takes more than 6 months or so to determine if she should move to Miami. It's better than picking up and moving when you hardly know the person. We have seen this happen so many times and it never works out. Molly and Jason did the long distance thing for 8 months before Molly moved to Seattle.

I think they are handling their situation as best as they can considering the distance between them, and JPG's work schedule. Putting a ring on it means nothing in TB world, but they are living the real world.

Not many people in the real world, get engaged after being in a relationship in such a short period of time. JMHO.

Jason and Molly maintained their long distance relationship by seeing each other practically every weekend. JP and Nikki were seeing each other frequently, but they've slowed down. IMO, slowing down isn't a good sign.

Jason and Molly ignored the media and the negative attention and, as I recall, updated their fans about their lives on Jason's private website. Jason's son, Tye, was deliberately removed from the limelight after Jason's show wrapped. For example, although Tye was part of the wedding, he wasn't shown on TV or published photos. Tye's parents didn't want their son exposed to growing up on TV.

I don't remember Jason and Molly feeding into the negative like Juan Pablo and Nikki have and that may be another difference between the two couples.

Long Distance relationships are not always the true picture of the real relationship. I am speaking from experience in that I dated someone long distance for almost 2 years before we got married, and there are always those things you experience that you never saw in a "visit" every 3rd weekend or whatever the schedule is.

We were married just a month less than 6 years and while, it was bigger things that drove us apart; there were definitely signs that I might not have missed if we lived in the same town or together for a year or so before we got married.

Work scheduling affects everyone regardless if you're living together or in a long distance relationship. If she was living in Miami, and was working 3 12 hour shifts, and he was away for work, it doesn't matter if she's living in Miami or KC.

I have a friend who's hubby is a long distance driver. He's gone for weeks at a time. No difference IMO.

The difference is what happens when you are together.

I haven't found that they are feeding into the negative at all, considering  what they've been through and the negativity that has been thrown their way from all angles. They occasionally respond to negative comments, in a comical way. Other than that, I think they've handled it in an exceptional way. They are doing what they said they want to do, live their life free of the franchise.

This isn't the lifestyle for everyone. There are many challenges I would imagine. Anything can happen to them, just as it would with any normal couple.

I was referring to Nikki calling out producers as responsbile for Andi's F2 bringing up having sex. IMO, even if they encouraged him, doesn't mean the F2 had to go there and doesn't mean Nikki is right having having gone there with her tweets. Honestly, I'm embarassed for her because it makes her look as petty and small of a person as it does for Andi's F2.

GA, you may not agree with me, but it's how I read it. Nikki's defending a man that embarassed her good friend, Andi, on national TV ONLY because she wanted to attack production staff. What Nikki said helps no one and hurts those she actually cares about. It's feeding the negative.

I enjoy reading your posts Amberish as I do everyone's. So all is good.

The way I see it with Nikki's tweet, is she's being honest, she knows first hand the power of TPTB.

I agree, but since we're on the subject, Jason and Molly's podcast had a different take than Nikki.

Instead, they believe Nick took it really hard and Molly actually said, "stalkerish", because he followed Andi to Mexico. At first, they mentioned the only way Nick would know about Andi being in Mexico was from producers, but then decided, no, because production would want to film the two talking to each other; Thus, Nick had to have learned about the Mexico trip from Andi's twitter.

Jason and Molly talked about how fantasy date sex is always alluded to, but no one has actually said it and Nick was a jerk to have gone there. Although Jason and Molly are not at all shy about pointing at production, they didn't and pointed directly at Nick.
