All we really know is what Nikki is willing to say publicly about him.  What she's confided in Andi and other friends might be a little different and a contributing factor to how Andi/Josh view JP.  He could also be a nice guy/friend but a lousy BF/partner.   I've never been impressed by him and his behavior on CT didn't do anything to change my opinion of him.  He seemed a bit passive aggressive, non committal and manipulative.  JMO.

Here we go again, someone else insisting that JPG should be liked. Well, I don't. I use to, and even defended him, but I was wrong, admit to being wrong, looking forward to when he'll no longer be relevant or a rational topic.

I did not insist that you like him I said I do . You have a right to your opinion just like I have mine. What I saw on CT was a spoiled brat from Nikki that had to get her way in everything she does. No wonder Juan never responded back to her. It is funny that the one person who had to live through this with him just gave a interview on how much she truly loves him and he loves her.

Wow, this is incredible. I prefer honest, but as I said with Josh, you don't have to be rude to be honest.

We are entitled to like who we like. I liked Nikki, but I can see that TPTB fooled me with their edit.

Others think JPG was the one who fooled. Just remember since all this break up started, JPG has been laying low and Nikki who complained about fans not leaving her alone is giving interviews and flying to AC to spend less than 24 hours to spend time with Andi. To me that speaks of who the true fameho is and sorry being two faced and continuing to stay with JPG but complain about him to your friends, again is this what a nice person does? Not in my opinion.

What is the most awesome of all of this, was that the biggest issue IMO that Dr. Jenn pointed out was Nikki not discussing with JPG their problems.  Looks like that continued.  How sweet that Dick and Andi probably knew that JPG was getting dumped for a while before he did.  But wait, you have to wait to break up with him until you can get all the free perks possible.  Trip to Bali, check, world series tickets, check.  

Nikki to me is not a nice person.  TPTB you win, you really fooled me with her edit.  Congrats.  

Also, can someone tell me how a 28 year old woman's two closest friends are people she met on reality tv in the last year?

Plus her being a liar also does not make her look better in my eyes . Buying a house and not telling Juan ,taking a trip to Bali with him when she knew it wasn't working. At least Juan has always stayed true to himself and took the high road when Nikki went to one of the trashiest magazines to sell her story. Fameho describes her well.

First off, I've seen dozens of people who, faced with the realization that their Significant Other has one foot out the door, try to pull a rabbit of a hat by making that last ditch effort. I wasn't there, but that may be what happened in Bali with 'T'amo". JP may have known or sensed that Nikki was at the end and it was JP's last shot at keeping it together.

IMO, Nikki already knew at the end of CT that the relationship wasn't going to work. Should she have gone on the trip? Like many upthread, I wouldn't have been able to, but I do believe she loved JP. I just think she realized during her time at CT, which is the only time the two actually lived together, that the relationship wasn't going to work in the real world.

With regard to buying the house, that may just have been Nikki's way of "sealing the deal". Once the house was bought, I think it becomes more difficult for Nikki to reverse her decision. I've seen dozens of people do that too. Make a life changing decision like a new job or other major commitments that are difficult to retract from in order to make sure they keep moving forward in a new direction.

Takes two to tango. Neither are at fault. Neither are villains. And remember, the people we've seen, even in interviews, are highly edited. Their words are often manipulated to show us what others want us to see.

That's why I said "maybe" more post should have a maybe in them, since we are all speculating and don't know anything about these two people.....

I think that's an extreme way to look at it.  I call her confiding things to friends as venting...not bad mouthing and it's something most people do when going thru tough, confusing, sad times and needing an ear and a shoulder to cry on.  Confiding in friends versus sharing personal feelings in the press that could potentially hurt JPG's rep is being kind rather than being two faced.  If Nikki had said something negative about JP to the mags, she'd be skewered and not many would be applauding her honesty.

And then she has these two respected friends who then turn around and say the negative things about him. Andi did it directly and then had Josh do it, and then Dick does it one his Evel recap.

So really, I guess if you want to share and not hurt your bf, then don't you trust people who don't share your thoughts. Or maybe it is better to have your friends make mean snipes so you can look good like you still care for him?

The key here is that those things Nikki is sharing aren't being kept private at all are they?
