Could one of you sleuths please post/ update the media thread when the other contestants surface please ? I think that may possibly help with sleuthing. TIA.

Once ABC splashes the new contestants on their page, the masses will know who he is and check up on the most famous of the current crop. Pretty sure they would "find" the online connections the family has made with Andi's.

My guess is this info is currently in the back pocket of a few and wouldn't be surprised to see it in rag mags in the future.  The "proof" should have been deleted before filming started to avoid headlines in the future.  I can see it causing "disillusionment" with some viewers once it is made public.

I do feel a bit if disillusionment, good term for it, since I agree with discussions in the other thread that the social media clues point to Josh as F1. RS and many here were able to call it as very likely as soon as knowing he was a contestant. So a bit bummed, but there seem like a lot of great guys to make a great season. I'm hoping if it's Josh at least he and Andi have the type of chemistry that lights up the screen, to make up for the set up feeling that comes from this. And guessing Chris, Marcus and Nick will be great Bachelor candidates.

notarose - just FYI knowing that Andi's and Josh's family had connected prior to the season even kicking off left a bad taste in my mouth and that itself gives the feeling of a pre-determined outcome.
Nothing I have read today leads me to believe otherwise. And I would say that even when/if they have a brood of little Dorfman-Murrays running around.

Follow doesn't mean squat IMO. I seem to remember someone from Brooks family following Des and other family members actively like someone who doesn't end up being the f1. Unfollows don't mean a lot either because it can be a glitch. I've lost someone I was previously following myself. The most likely thing in this case is that Josh's family saw Andi's family on the show and liked that they're also from Georgia. I get that.

I do wonder....Did it occur to you guys, that the majority of the contestants who made it far(like oversees) are (practicing) Christians? 3 of the F4 are for sure(I don't know about Marcus). I addition there are Brian, Dylan and Marquel. We don't know about JJ, Cody, Andrew and Pat....
No Jewish guys, I believe... I actually don't know whether there are any Jewish contestants this season.

Not that it matters, but I remember that we talked a lot about whether Andi is a practicing Jew and whether religion is gonna be a deal-breaker for her.

I could have sworn in the clip I saw of her conversation with Juan Pablo (yeah, I broke down and watched it after all the hoopla) she said she was a practicing Jew.    However, she stayed around with Juan Pablo, so I don't see where that would be a problem.

^^ She said she was Jewish, but I don't think she mentioned anything about the "practicing" part.   

That is interesting Chloe.. I do remember that both Andi and Hy tweeted back in December that they were in Mexico for Christmas. I believe her mother is Christian right? Maybe she doesn't necessarily just practice one in particular and has kind of always celebrated both in her family like JP and Ashley do now? If that is the case then I would assume she would be more open about it in regards to the guys and their faith.

Actually Ron is Jewish is home town is Naharia, which is in Israel.
