Regardless of Carla's arguing style, it wasn't helpful to his cause to reveal that about the mother of his child because it says more about him than about her. Hopefully, Nikki will continue to be content with keeping silent.

Ugh, that is what I don't like about his view on relationships. He won't let a woman stand up for herself and what she thinks or wants. He can never have a healthy relationship if he doesn't let go of that. But, at least its obvious, he isn't hiding that attitude.

The good news: despite Andi's hard hitting arguing style (didn't she call him an a** to his face?), JP didn't walk away or yell or name call SO this type of arguing style is effective with him. He initiated a hug when she left and they did hug. Perhaps Carla has a different style, more of an interrupter/cryer type or that woman who believes a man should be able to read her mind.
Personally I was raised with Andi's style of arguing except we speak up as soon as possible. And, our family law is you have to stick with the issue and not degenerate into what happened last year or name calling. If we didn't we were sent to our room until we were prepared to be civil. Different strokes for different folks.

He did say after that argument that it was a good thing she was choosing to leave because he never would pick her now. He does not like to argue or deal with upset women, I think he made that pretty clear at several points on the show, and I don't think that was all editing.

Whoever is with him is going to have to learn to persuade him gently and never let him know they are arguing. So far, Nikki seems to know how to handle him.

And this bolded is also true, she takes absolutely everything he says and does in stride and just laughs it off, even when other women are just appalled by his behavior. Who knows, maybe she is happy that he is so obviously affectionate, silly, and fun to be with and she can compromise on all the other stuff.

Maybe by argue, JP means they fought a lot in the relationship? I can't imagine he left Carla because she talks back. Sounds so strange lol.

I can see this, and maybe with the way he interprets words, that's what he means. He didn't seem to want to engage in an argument with Andi or Clare, he just would listen, nod his head and say it's ok. I don't think he likes confrontation. I have to say (from what I've read) I respect the way he talks about his ex. He seems to have worked it out with her for the sake of their daughter, who should be the priority to begin with.

Carla seems to hold no grudge about any of it.

So cute. They were able to keep their friendship despite the controversy between Andi and JP.
In the People article, Nikki revealed that Andi is her bff and she will be invited to her wedding. JPab replied then "you'll going to marry a different guy". Not sure if he's joking or not, most likely joking coz he knows from the start that they are bff and one of the pic was taken during the ATFR.

Wait, that's kind of adorable!! But also a good example of what Nikki thinks is funny/okay/charming and another girl would find just ridiculous/crass/disrespectful. Can you share more of the interview? Only the cute parts will suffice! giggling

Say what you will about Juan Pablo Galavis and Nikki Ferrell's future potential as a couple. In the here and now, they seem very much together.
A day after surviving (but hardly emerging unscathed) from the onslaught of questions posed to them about their feelings for each other on The Bachelor: After the Final Rose special, Juan Pablo and Nikki were back in Miami yesterday, where they checked out an exhibit of Hebru Brantley's work presented by Dom Perignon at Toys for Boys.
And according to an eyewitness, they looked like "a very happy couple."

Sources exclusively tell E! News that Nikki and Juan Pablo popped in at around 8:30 p.m. local time, and stayed for about an hour, partaking of the beverages on hand and mingling with the owner of Toys for Boys, a gallery and event space.
"They were very affectionate and walked in hand in hand, and he had his arm around her most of the night," an eyewitness said. "They looked like a really fun and friendly couple and were really into each other."
We're told that there were about 100 people at the exhibit last night and that Juan Pablo was not making a public appearance, but rather was there with Nikki as a regular party guest.
A source said that he and Nikki left to go to dinner afterward.
