Good for Nikki and Juan Pablo for living their lives (I'm not a huge fan of either, however if they're happy then that's good enough for me).

However, I fail to see what Trista said that warranted Nikki's harsh response. It seems like Nikki and Juan Pablo could care less about making/keeping any friends in the Bachelor family (I think this is kind of what Catherine's comment on ATFR was about "biting the hand that feeds you"). JMO

In addition to being very pro Clare and somewhat anti- Nikki and JPG all season on her blogs, in this article she was quoted as saying

"Well obviously, I don’t think you should marry someone who is doubting your relationship, so if he is, then I think she’ll need to have to have a heart-to-heart about whether she wants to be with someone who doesn’t want to be with her,” she tells Life & Style.

I understand Nikki being upset by this. Trista has no idea what Nikki or JPG feel and really doesn't need to keep talking about it three weeks later. Just my opinion.

To me Trista is desperate to stay relevant so will talk about things she has no idea about.

I think it was the final straw, and unlucky Trista got the brunt of Nikki's frustration with all of the anti comments coming from Bach nation, unfortunately. She was probable like "really, you're still talking about us?" which isn't really Trista's fault I guess.

I'm definitely not denying that Trista was Pro-Clare, but I dunno, to me that sentence shouldn't illicit such a defensive response (she said what I think many people thought). Nikki just needs to let this stuff roll off her back and ignore it. She only gives it merit by responding to it, in my opinion. Also, I feel like this might be recycled material. I feel like I read that quote from Trista after the finale?

I agree, Nikki probably would have been better off not responding at all. I don't get all the negative responses to her though. I didn't get that Trista was being supportive or wishing them well at all. I interpreted it more of a "well, if you're willing to put up with that kind of a relationship, then it's on you. My heart breaks for you". She didn't really need to say anything other than. I don't know them, and don't know how they are doing today - three weeks after the finale aired. I think Nikki just got fed up with the negative comments and lashed out. It didn't help her cause, but I see her point. It would tick me off having a "family member" commenting on me without them knowing a thing about me.

As i've mentioned in my previous post, this article in Life & Style is the tipping point for Nikki. Nikki knows that Trista does not like her or JP and there is no point in talking about them in a guise of an advice in a mag when she does not personally know the couple. As for "biting the hands that feeds you" comment, JPG and Nikki is vocal from disassociating themselves from TPTB and do not need the production to pay for the perks i.e. engagement ring, wedding, attend paid gigs.

There's a lot more in the blog but this is basically representative of Trista's tone throughout. As to the most recent Trista "interview", she didn't deny being recently quoted just said she thought the byline was . I find the byline tamer than Trista's above blog.

I think it's important to recognize that Trista's latest statement is part of a bigger picture and that picture includes her season 18 blog. Perhaps Trista will now move on to talking about other things... her book would be a great & positive topic.

Trista is extremely annoying, ridiculous, and high and mighty but regardless of all that, she's Bachelor Queen Bee and it's not the wisest of Nikki to publicly call her out. Then again Nikki is JPG's blondie so it makes sense that they share an attitude and disregard for bachelor nation so they probably don't care about maintaining good relationships with them.
