My observations on the People Mag article:

1. Nikki gets and understand JP's jokes and sarcasm. What is considered as red flags by other women is not red flag to her. - i.e Nikki's not offended by the thong comment; neither when JP told her not sure what will happen since there are 2 other girls left.

2. Nikki must be comfortable enough with JP to let go of her reservation and told him ILY first (1st time she did and in national TV).

3. JP knows Nikki well going into the finale- she's afraid of waves (told her to be careful during LCD); she get cranky when it's hot (that's why they had this weird conversation during the finale when JP told Nikki "don't be cranky and do it later"). TBH, I did not understand why this was included in the edit.

4. Nikki respect Andi's opinion. It will take a strong woman to balance the relationship between your best friend and scorned boyfriend. Also kudos to JP for not taking this against Nikki.

Wow! Nice summary Isabel, just like papa Gavalis said, Nikki is honest enough to manage the relationship with Juan and mama said she is strong that it will work.

Thank you for posting some of the question on their people mags interview and you are right they understand each other and Nikki saying ily is confidence that she gets from him and that is like something new to her. I can see they do know each other inside jokes and so sad that viewers don't see that. I love how he said I hope its Nikki and followed with if you behave is saying give them time and they will get there and its a team effort. i also notice how supportive their families has been. and that is telling of their relationship and that is nice to see.
I hope to see more pic of them or just twitting or instagram and i hope we have people here who would look for it like seancat fans they pretty much almost know everything about them even to the point they can predict what they will get upto haha..

Thanks so much for posting! That article is so super adorable!! JPG talking about having all the control and saying Nikki has to behave are exactly the types of things other women would get all upset about while with Nikki, it's funny and adorable and she understands him. I'm by far not his biggest fan but I absolutely can see why they're together. Hoping it can last!

One of the weirdest things for me was when he told her a the finale 'don't get cranky,' one last parting shot from the editing team it seemed. I figured he knew she gets cranky when it's hot out, and that it was likely from a prior conversation, but leave it to TPTB to make it look like he was once again being rude.

So, it looks like @peoplemag posted the edited version of JP's blog and from what I can gather, the part below was omitted in the original blog:

In the article there is a real distinction between the "four executives" who he feels turned their backs on him and "his producers" who had his back. JMO---the 4 execs include MF and CH and his producers include Elan and whomever were his handlers. It is apparent to me that he viewed his experience as a fight against doing the "false" things wanted of him through the course of filming, so they paid him back by using the worst footage they could. Not that JP is blameless, mind you, but MF is a pig and loves to make people look their worst when it suits him.

Edited to add....I think CH is not too far behind MF, he just hides behind him, or maybe goes along so that he can get his paycheck.

I agree with that -- CH has a pretty face so he does the public spinning. My feeling is that he is heavily involved in creating the "story"
