Yes, my heart breaks every time, and I don't even know him. I did it with Chris and Des too. I was so glad when they started to get some love from the fans.

Might I add the only one who met Carla. To me this is very important for JuanPa and his daughter.

Now that's huge, imo. ETA: But, how do you tell when someone is followings someone on Instagram? I looked to see if I could tell who was following Nikki, but I couldn't find it. Thanks. :Smiley:

Using the Instagram app, its pretty much like twitter. The person's profile shows who they follow and who follows them

Happy to be here too. Glad to have a group to share my admiration of Nikki and JPG.

I wasn't all in for Chris and Des, but have watched Des bloom in Chris's love and think they are awesome and have appreciated them and their not bashing our new couple this week.

Nothing but time will prove that they are good for each other, and maybe the doubters will change over time like I did with Chris and Des.

Just read People Mag. I will bring over some interesting questions and answers not included in the Hollywoodlife article I copied 2 days ago.

Q. Nikki, how have you felt watching the backlash?

Nikki: It’s been a struggle not to be able to defend him as a girlfriend should. It’s been hard but I’m here as a girlfriend to support him.

Q. How did you know Juan Pablo was the one for you?

Nikki: I came into this skeptical but with open mind. The more I got to know him, the more sure I was. Things that might have been red flags for the other girls were not red flags for me. It just works. We understand each other.

Juan Pablo: We understand each other’s sarcasm and our jokes.

Nikki: I feel like we had great conversation, but more physical things were shown as opposed to a good mental connection.

Juan Pablo: “Mental connection” (laughs) that’s a funny term.

Q: Was it not embarrassing to tell Juan Pablo you loved him and not hear it in return?

Nikki: It’s tough for me because I’ve never told somebody I loved them first. It’s kind of girl code.

Juan Pablo: And now I’m in control.

Q: Have you said it now?

Juan Pablo: I’m not telling you.

Q: How have you maintained your relationship since the finale? (after filming is done)

Nikki: We talked every day and we’d see each other every couple of weeks.

Juan Pablo: It wasn’t easy.

Q: What have you learned about each other?

Juan Pablo: It’s all about communication. Lack of communication can separate people. I’ve told Nikki, whatever you feel, tell me. Don’t hold it in.

Nikki: I have a tendency to do that. Sometimes I need to process things. But he’s very receptive to my feelings.

Juan Pablo: I like that she’s very honest with me.

Nikki: When I get hot, hungry or tired, I get really cranky. Or when I just woken up early.
Juan Pablo: Or many other things.

Nikki: We had disagreements, but there has not been a moment for me where I’m like “this is not happening, I’m going to walk away.”

Juan Pablo: For me that’s happened like five times! [laughing]

Q: Nikki are you still friends with Andi?

Nikki: Andi and I will always be close, and she’s entitled to her opinion about Juan Pablo. Those two were not meant to be, but I think it will eventually be a great friendship.

Juan Pablo: I’ll think about it.

Q: Do you see marriage in your future?

Juan Pablo: I want to get married and have 2 more kids and never get divorced. I want to make sure I pick the right person. I hope [it’s Nikki]. If you behave. [laughs]

Nikki: It’s a team effort.

Juan Pablo: If you behave and I behave!

My observations on the People Mag article:

1. Nikki gets and understand JP's jokes and sarcasm. What is considered as red flags by other women is not red flag to her. - i.e Nikki's not offended by the thong comment; neither when JP told her not sure what will happen since there are 2 other girls left.

2. Nikki must be comfortable enough with JP to let go of her reservation and told him ILY first (1st time she did and in national TV).

3. JP knows Nikki well going into the finale- she's afraid of waves (told her to be careful during LCD); she get cranky when it's hot (that's why they had this weird conversation during the finale when JP told Nikki "don't be cranky and do it later"). TBH, I did not understand why this was included in the edit.

4. Nikki respect Andi's opinion. It will take a strong woman to balance the relationship between your best friend and scorned boyfriend. Also kudos to JP for not taking this against Nikki.
