I just read in the comments on a TV Guide interview with CH that Sharleen, Des and Chris had dinner with JP and Nikki last night after the ATFR. Here is a link to that interview:

That support from them will soften his heart, he seam very hurt by the whole process.
If they make it after 6 months, people will leave them alone. Until then, they need lots of love.
Maggen i'm bringing over some of the comments on the TV guide interview. What i find interesting is that Nikki and JPab have already went out with Sharleen, Des and Chris and even Lucy. Also the part where JP refused the transportation provided by TPTB.
These are the COMMENTS:
From what I understand they both have walked away from all of it and want no money, nothing. Apparently some of them including JP/Nikki, Sharleen, Des and Chris went out to dinner after it was all over so I don't think it's all that big of a deal. Sources at the restaurant said that they all appeared to be laughing and having a wonderful time together. Hmmm.

Where did you see that? I just find it unbelievable. Sure, he could have had an unfavourable edit but there was no such trickery on the live show. As CH said, he was angry and defensive. All the show needed was some acknowledgment from him that he was happy to have found Nikki, and given the audience something positive about her. Instead, he was just plain rude. I'm hoping this backfires on him when he's back to picking up women in Miami.

It's all over the internet. E Online has a story, TMZ, etc. If you are on twitter Nikki is very good friends with Andi, Kelli and Sharleen. Seems most of the problem stems with JP and ABC Production and by the time AFTR aired there was so much animosity between the two that both sides just wanted it over. Nikki and JP even denied the car that ABC was going to send to pick them up, etc. They got their own transportation, things like that. I'm not defending some of the things JP did but I don't necessarily think it's all his fault either. He told CH that he was happy, more than once, but CH just kept pushing for more of a commitment which I think made JP even more angry. So he didn't propose, big deal, if it didn't feel right then why pretend only to have them broke up in a month. If Nikki is okay with their relationship the way it is right now then why does ABC feel they need something more. IDK, I just believe there's always two sides to every story, that's all. The entire think is just majorly fubbed up.

Well, a few sources (including TMZ) noted that they "reportedly went to dinner with them" but the one I believe is that Juan Pablo's friend Carlos went to dinner with them, based on the tweets they shared about Carlos being the third wheel. I guess Juan Pablo picked the restaurant. Very impressive when your food arrives on paper linings! I think you totally misunderstood what CH said. He wanted something positive about Nikki, it didn't have to be "love" but Juan Pablo refused to say anything positive about his choice. And has since refused to do any post show publicity. I hope their contract specifies he only gets half his pay. I'm sure that will run out quickly.
I pretty much figured out Juan Pablo was going to be a lame (and boring) Bachelor on the first show but didn't realize it was going to be such a trainwreck, albeit a very dull one. ABC should realize a portion of their audience is like me - we don't watch every season, it all depends on who they cast. Some people are interesting and entertaining even if they're a villain type. Egotistical, misogynstic a$$hats seldom are.

Well, I'm a firm believer in the fact that no one except those who were actually there know the truth about anything. We can all come to our own conclusions and believe what we want but that will always come down to nothing but speculation without first hand information. I don't wish ill will on anybody, that's not my style. But those meal tweets your speaking about are from dinner they had in Miami, which is where they are now, not Monday night after the show in L.A. But that aside, some of the best meals I've ever had came on paper plates :-)
So I wonder, is Nikki done w/the show and ABC as well or is she just following Juan Pablo's lead and going along w/what Juan Pablo wants? She seemed very pleasant in her solo interview w/Chris Harrison and didn't seem to harbor any ill will towards him or the show. Just wondering what her stance is in all of this.

I think a lot of people are missing the point, with that tweet. The reason they're calling CH a liar for saying "I just spoke to Juan Pablo" is because it's so hard to have a conversation with Juan. It's not a serious jab at Chris, it's a tongue in cheek jab at JPabs.

Xenophobia, Entertainment and Bullies.
How “The Bachelor” Exposed the Inauthenticity of the Fairy Tale Ending.
laura i. gómez
Juan Pablo Galavis. You may have heard of him or seen his face plastered on celebrity magazines. He was this season’s “The Bachelor” — you probably read (horrible things)about him in a tweet, gossip blog or Facebook feed. Or you may have watched the show.
Who is this guy? You ask yourself. Well, that “jerk” is my friend. My “cuate” (bro). I know the type of human being, father, friend, son and man he is. He is kind, thoughtful, considerate and loyal. My boyfriend calls him “one of the nicest” guys he knows.
As any brother and sister, we have our disagreements. He is human — a tendency to be stubborn and as some of you witnessed on tv, brutally honest. But on the flip side, his stubbornness becomes resilience in face of adversity and his honesty the path to transparency and openness during conflict.
He is also one of the most caring people I know.
Unfortunately for America, they did not see the real Juan Pablo on television. Like his friend Zak said, what you are seeing is an edited down version, a “character” for entertainment purposes (fueled by xenophobia). But this is not the “real” Juan Pablo. I know this.
So @JuanPaGalavis I hope America sees that you have been edited down to a “character” used to tell a story. But not a story of the real you.
— Zak Waddell (@RealZakWaddell)
For those that are not familiar with the term, xenophobia is the intense or irrational dislike or fear of people from other countries. As a sociologist, I will evaluate on this later on.
Juan Pablo believes in honesty while speaking a second language: English. Professionally, I work with languages and technology — how they interact and involve themselves in our lives. I know for a fact that, when talking matters of the heart, the instinct is to always speak in the mother tongue — so basically, intentions don’t translate well when discussing emotions. Then you add editing and inconsiderate hunger for ratings — you get this.
Things get lost in translation. For example, “I like you a lot” can be roughly traduced to te quiero but can also mean you care and love a person as well.
The equivalent of “I love you” is te amo — but this is said rarely and only when there is that deep connection of being in love. Unlike Americans, Latin Americans don’t say te amo in every relationship. We just don’t. That is why he didn’t say it. He needs to share that intimacy with just her. But the fairy tales tells us Prince Charming should yell this at the top of his lungs. He should demonstrate it to everyone on his truth.
Having known Juan Pablo for years, I have never heard him share stories of exes, girlfriends, lovers. He has always been private in these matters.
The horrible neglect of the production company to provide language and emotional support to him (and his family) and educate viewers on his cultural background resulted in this “character” that America loves to hate.
I believe NZK, the production company, is to blame. I know this as a fact. Linda Holmes from NPR write, “[they] decided that they needed a different framing for the season — one in which their bachelor was kind of … a jerk. They made a choice to cut him loose. To throw him, in reality show terms, under the bus.”
While I do agree to a certain extent that Juan Pablo wasn’t cut out for the show, this was only exacerbated by NZK neglect to provide support and guidance….. and for throwing him under the bus.
And during “After the Rose”, the bus repeatedly ran over Juan Pablo and his final choice, Nikki.
Holmes wrote: “You were watching the struggle between a network production trying to put together a neat narrative about a guy women could have fun gabbing about as a Bad Boyfriend and a guy who was not at all prepared to have that happen, regardless of whether he deserved it.”
That hate was found in the horrible tweets and Facebook comments. The horrifying bullying of social media. They were not only targeted at Juan Pablo, but also his girlfriend (see tweet below) his daughter, his family.
Being in the public eye does NOT give you the right to say what you want to me. Your words hurt no matter what. Be ashamed of yourselves.
— Nikki Ferrell (@Nikki_Ferrell)
THIS IS NOT OKAY.
NO. It “esss” not “okay” to make fun of someone’s accent, nationality and cultural background. It is not classy, people. And well, just insensitive. But above all, that is xenophobic. Shame on you, America.
And the host, Chris Harrison — what a cowardly decision to go to media outlets and choose such an inconsiderate approach for your public attacks on Juan Pablo. How horrible are you to push him to say something all for your ratings and your fake happy ending. Shame on you.
NZK. shame on your cultural insensitivity in every decision you made (casting, editing, marketing) that has created this “character” of a person.
Thankfully, I know the real Juan Pablo. Te quiero cuate. It’s okay.
Best,
::LG

He in my opinion is a big bullshooter. What he's paid to do.

So true. Hence forth, for me, CH will forever be the emperor without clothes.

Molly and Jason were actually very supportive of Chris Harrison on their podcast. I thought they were very fair and balanced with the whole situation. They placed blame on both the show and on Juan Pablo. Molly mentioned that Juan Pablo should have been more gracious and not come out with such a bad attitude. Jason mentioned that he hoped Juan Pablo would not be upset with their honest opinions about the ATFR show. They both did reach out to Juan Pablo and Nikki, and if anyone knows how tough it can be after the show, it's these two.
