IMO, IF he had said I like f-ing you, she would have said it here instead of "I like kissing". IF the statement was so offensive to her, she definitely would have added it to the conversation that she was having with Juan Pablo; no way she would have left it out. Absent plausible video or audio of Juan Pablo actually saying this-- I am going to give him the benefit of the doubt. He is innocent until proven guilty and we ALL know that TPTB can do some pretty good editing; they've done it in the past and I don't doubt that they will continue to do it until they are made to stop. I know some will disagree, I readily admit that this is IMO.

I just watched the final scene with Clare and JP again. It is clear to me that when he says "I'm glad I didn't pick her" he was talking to someone else. Watch his eyes. I wonder what the question was that was posed to him before he said that. I'm would guess one of the producers prodded him to get that response. JMHO

I also believe Clare. I mean after all, she was there and the forum members were not.

And some one said something about innocent until proven guilty, well last I checked, TPTB are not releasing any audio or video to prove it it anyone since they don't believe it. That is the only way it will be proven.

JPG has said lots of stupid stuff so I don't know why it's hard to believe this from Clare and Andi? I feel like the pervert line would he debated to death too if it wasn't documented. He says dumb stuff. It doesn't make him a bad dude with zero redeeming qualities, it is what it is.

I took a few days off from coming here since the finale because I wanted to avoid the chatter here of still trying to get your voice heard on what you think happened. We must remember that this is a edited show, which I know all of here know this. But, the problem I have with this discussion (which is sad) that there are those that still won't believe a woman that she was disrespected. We weren't there and everyone has their own level or idea of disrespect. Maybe what JP said wouldn't be disrespectful to you but it was to Clare who was there on the receiving end. To answer the question about no presence of camera/mics on helicopter, I too listen to J & M and it makes sense that video wouldn't be there, plus microphones will be on them but that doesn't mean that they can reach the receiver to record audio. So, hence their conversation would not be recorded. If all the equipment was landed first and getting ready to record then helicopter landing, they were not on that helicopter and the recording wouldn't be there to receive the audio. So, I just needed to share what I know through my experience of recording video etc. So, I can see how JP and Clare's conversation was private. JMO also.

You implied it and I don't appreciate it. You can disagree with me all you want. But basically saying I was "played like a fiddle" suggests I can't think for myself and I'm dumb for believing it. I'm sorry, but JuanPa has stuck his foot in his mouth enough times for me to have NO trouble believing Clare about what he said to her.

Alanna, unfortunately there isn't documentation which would make it extremely easy for TPTB to have the public viewer buy the fact that Juan Pablo might have said the statement. I'm not saying I think Juan Pablo is above making a crass statement, I just don't believe he made this particular statement (about Clare).

ETA: 4h, good point about why there might not be audio.

Since JPG's mom stated on twitter that she and Clare specifically talked about this helicopter comment but it didn't air on the show it does sound like it may have been what lead to the aired "rude" exchange they had. It doesn't sound as if JPG's mom felt it was necessary to not include their convo in the episode.

Interesting that they spoke about it...I hadn't heard that.
