I posted this over on wrong thread I think: Just for fun!

So just a few thoughts to keep things interesting.  I can't do screen caps (I don't think I need them) but during Clare's first 1:1 we have Lucy in the hot tube and she states "he must really like her because he called her name first for the rose"…..why leave that comment in there unless it is pointing to Nikki always getting the first rose if she didn't have one in every RC and hinting?  or didn't edit it out because tptb made sure JP called her name out first to push her storyline to distract front the true storyline.  thoughts?

Also, in the dog photo shot Nikki's photo was her standing by the fire hydrate girl? with the dog, indicating the dog peeing on the fire hydrate, which goes in line with Nikki's comment about Clare acting like a dog peeing on him first and that she marked her territory that might not be hers.    UMMMM!

yeah..i caught that too..i guess i read too much on the crying scenes....that has really got me...  

i guess i dont care that MUCH about JP and his F1   (i beg to differ from you this time      )

on a lighter note, someone (i think Chacaroo?) has said on other thread commenting on the 2-nights events preview :

`soo..how bad is JPab on bed, that all of his 3 girls are crying??'   ..tooooo funny!!           

Oh, I don't care either. When I say "I will be more than frustrated," it doesn't have to do with who he picks. It has to do with his potential mixed messages. That kind of stuff drives me crazy, personally. Let your yes be yes and your no be no. Just be clear. And, again, all this is based on speculation -- so in fairness to Juan -- maybe none of this ever happens.

   ...  ....March 10th, hurry up!!..so we all can be calm -collected again...i just need to see HOW all will plays out way2 more than WHO will be the chosen one.  (Juan, whether there is trouble in your paradise or not, MYOB!  )  

Can someone screencap JP's rose ceremony tie?. He is either wearing a tie clip or it is a club tie.

I've only watched the HTD and FD this season. What makes people think that Clare is going to tattletale and about what? I am inclined to believe that during their LCD JP reveals the details of Andi's leaving to Clare which prompts her to make the comment about how "shocked" she is and how what she heard was "awful". Her crying on the bed is nothing more than nerves about what's going to happen at the RC the next day.

The promo obviously could be much to do about nothing. They always make it seems as though the lead has been let down and ends up alone. I have been one of those people that think its a possibility only because he is not just choosing for himself but his daughter as well. It would not surprise me if he did not choose anyone and gets far away from this franchise.

However, we tend to think that Clare (possibly Nikki also) could be highlighting their thoughts to JP that the other girl is unsuitable for the F1 rose. The reason for this is that they showed both girls giving a PI after the F3 RC and Clare definitely mentioned the fact that Nikki was still there and that she thinks that indicates a problem with JPs choosing abilities.
Therefore it would not surprise me either if she had to at least mention Nikki to JP. Also, I think it is possible vice-versa as well.

Post-season JP gave an interview saying that he did not like tattle tales. At the time I thought he was referring to Elise who attempted to warn JP of unsuitable candidates in the group and she was promptly eliminated. However, JP could have been referring to more than just Elise.
Hope this explanation helps. Obviously your explanation could be right as well.

IMO the leads often find the cracks at the end of their journey. At least the edit shows why a particular candidate was rejected or chosen slightly prior to their eventual elimination. In other words, the edit tends to peak so that at the end we say 'hmmm this is why he/she let them go'. Prior episodes often don't reveal the cracks.

So far we have seen issues with Clare (patched over by Clare accepting JPs non-apologylol) and if that was her peak of edit then she could end up as f1.
If Nikki has some drama and doubts that crop up in that last episode (eg tattle telling, smack talking about her competition) then that is her peak - followed by her eventual elimination. So far we have not seen JP doubt Nikki as yet but he also said that he did not feel love when she declared it.

Still think its anyones game here. Or no ones.

Thanks for taking the time to explain,  nd.  I don't think it's  a wise decision at this point in time for any one of  the F2 to be trash talking about their rival, and I don't remember if it's ever happened in other seasons.

Usually, crying scenes are indicative of pre RC jitters,  and I did notice what looks to be a pen on the bed in the SC where Clare is crying. I wonder if  she had been writing in her diary or a love letter, and was full of emotion. Oh, well, we'll find out soon enough.

There were two tweets by JP in the tweets by bachelor contestants, one that was posted in spanish (and I do not speak spanish), so out of curiosity I googled the translation and it came up as song lyrics by sin bandera....the second tweet by JP said sin bandera mode....

Well... it is good to try examining this from different angles... er... yeah...   

Just a couple interesting tidbits that don't "prove" anything in particular.

When Juan says Andi wanted to go home, Nikki's reaction is priceless. No... I have no clue what she is thinking. However, we never got her crying scene teased in the promos. Anything to do with Andi leaving and Clare still there? Got me. I am mighty curious what that was all about.

Nikki also gets Juan's "it hurt but there is nothing I can do about it". Very bizarre wording there. He is talking about how Andi treated him, but both ladies may think he was just hurt emotionally that she left. Nikki gets all of this. Not Clare. Does Nikki also "hurt" Juan? Or is she merely aware that he was hurt in a different way? More mystery to be solved.

Clare gets the bulk of his "I overcome those (bumps) by talking. So if I have any concerns about the two of you, I will go straight forward and tell you right away". When he says "two of you", he is only thinking about Clare. Why? Got me. Yet that edit was done on purpose because they USUALLY show both when "two of you" is stated. Regarding "talking" (that word prompts the edit jump from Juan to Clare), we can backtrack AGAIN to New Zealand and Clare's "it is not about what you fight about, but how you handle it." Not that I am jumping to conclusions here, but much of the Juan/Clare storyline involves Talking Through Problems... including the "why" he felt the romp in the ocean was a mistake.

Yes, there is another "bump in the road" later, but this whole scene teases that Clare and Juan will talk about it. Since Nikki is not shown after "talk", I am guessing either
a.) there is no "bump in the road" for her... or...
b.) there is and she does not talk about it with Juan.

After telling them it is OK to tell him that he is "not the person for you", Nikki is shown. THEN Juan is shown, followed by Clare. Two soft OKs. Clare is probably more "off the hook" here with that statement, since Nikki is shown before Juan. Does she potentially FEEL Juan is NOT right for her? Note too the speech her father Tom made at hometown regarding Nikki having to select Juan as equally as he selects her. You can go back and find the specific dialogue.

Clare's line that (paraphrasing) she and Nikki are completely different women and this will be telling of what kind of person Juan is... this is NOT something we can interpret easily.

A similar line was spoken by Chris about Brooks at his post-FD ceremony, stating that Brooks was not ready for this. Yet, how does HE know that? All Brooks did was leave because he didn't feel love for Desiree.

On another note, Elise felt Nikki wasn't good stepmom material because she was too negative. Nikki was called out by several ladies in Korea (i.e. Sharleen, Cassandra, Elise, Allison... Clare simply told her to her face) as having two sides to her personality (one way with the ladies and one way with him). Chelsie had more to add in Miami. Now... is this just catty conversation by jealous women? Obviously we can't go by anything Clare says since she is the one most competitive with her. Elsie was the first (Clare second) to use the expression "pulling the wool over his eyes".

This is all a mystery to us. Maybe it will remain a mystery. Sometimes "stuff" is put in the edit that we casual viewers know nothing about, but the contestants involved do.

Does anything here hurt either Nikki or Clare's chances? Hard call. Obviously those on either camp will look at this scene differently. I am just trying to point out the "curios" and it is up to you to decide if they mean ANYTHING or NOTHING. For her part, Nikki says she wants to spend the rest of her life with him.

RR - I don't see this crying SC having anything to do with what I was thinking (trouble in the finale) though.   This seems like a normal pre RC jittters thing as you pointed out.



JaunP had given an interview in which he did mention something about the girls knowing that he was dating other people and that he had to be fair to all (paraphrasing here). At the time of reading it I wondered if one of the women gave him a hard time about dating the other (s). Perhaps that ties in with the finale.
