The ONe and Only song JP is singing to Nikki…..people are stating that JuanP wrote it and recorded it….they only thing I can add is that I use the app Shazam and it cannot identify that song….Clare's and JP's song definitely identified it….so that tells me this song in not on the iTunes list FYI

That must be why I can't find the lyrics to that silly song. It must be a JP "original"... LOL!

This was discussed/speculated over on the spoilers board. The singer of the song JP played for Nikki sounds like it is JP. No proof, but the voice, accent is eerily similar. Someone did some digging and found an instagram photos of him recording, and we know he plays the piano.

I have not watched any of the promo vids out there - don't see the point at this stage when whatever the evil editors want us to see will be shown tonight anyway.

JP is actually so talented. I do wish they would have shown us a little of that during the show.

I do suspect he wrote, sang, and recorded the song.  I also suspect that when he moved the device closer he mouthed or whispered " I love you" ( re watch it to see if you agree).  But on the other hand, there is a case for Clare being F1 so I'm prepared to be wrong. If he does choose Nikki, I feel her father nonverbally clearly communicated to both JP & Nikki that they didn't approve of an engagement. If it's Clare, there could be an engagement at the FR although JP doesn't seem to be a guy who would accept a free ring given his disdain for TPTB.  If there is a proposal at the ATFR I still don't see a production ring in the mix.  More likely would be he got engaged between filming or proposes with a ring he purchased or a family heirloom.

The whole Clare scene focus is on the past, a walk down memory lane.  This could be him putting their relationship in the past tense or a couple looking back at how they met.
Nikki's scene is present tense and she once told Chelsey she is not sentimental. It could be a scene they both agreed to for production sake however I don't get why they are in the bedroom or why when Nikki says "not the only one here" the camera pans away and they are clearly the only ones there.
Overall, I think each woman offers a very different relationship dynamic and both will someday make good partners.  They are just ordinary women (the show just magnified their traits) - sometimes weepy or bitchy or sexy or fun. Either, in their usual lives with friends around and work to make their day normal would be more positive than not.  What JP seeks in a partner is the deciding factor.

Oh, and the official promo write-up on Clare's song clip uses the phrase " his intendant" so there is no end to the monkey wrench clues.

There was DEFINITELY a lot of straddling with Clare in Vietnam.

Juan grabbed Clare for private pool time in Vietnam, but poor Victoria was by herself in her pool... hoping to straddle Juan.

Nikki/Kat - although Kat's WTA comments do suggest she is very extroverted your comment shows that Nikki does misread people.  I think that her "Kat likes to be the centre of attention" or something like that then the scene change to Kat talking seriously with JP about her dad illustrates that Kat isn't all fun&games and that Nikki didn't know Kat very well. The same contrast occurred when Chelsey said "Nikki is so negative" while Nikki is smiling and obviously joking about the Miami date card. Overall this suggests to me that the edit is trying to show that, in general, assumptions are made with too little information or that 1st impressions should be revised as more information about a person is revealed rather than fixating on a first impression and ignoring the value of learning over time. Interestingly, Nikki made a guacamole comment on social media to which Kat responding & they have bantered playfully about Nikki's lack of dancing skill as well - all post-show.

You can also add Kelly and Andi mocking both Juan and Clare's octopus moment, recited by the Juan and Clare on their 1 on 1 time together.

Yeah.. we have gotten a ton of these.

Elise - definitely didn't like Nikki.  Her being the fire hydrant to Nikki's fashion model mustn't have helped.

I thought of the fire hydrant too... but I already went overboard above. That whole doggie date probably could be analyzed on its own post.

Nikki never mentioned Elise and I don't recall any other scenes with them together so I'm clueless about this one.

Except as one of "five who are annoying". Humorously, she thought Clare was talking about her with Juan instead of Elise. Obviously these two didn't spend much time around each other.

Fakeness - this is where Clare & Nikki are alike.  They both think the other is faking interest in JP.

... and believing themselves NOT to be fake. I think. I am trying to remember if Nikki actually said she isn't "fake". Just that you can't get what you want by being so.

Hurt - Nikki has been consistent here including her intro video.  She is prepared to be hurt in the end.  She and JP have both hurt people.  

I probably commented enough on a looooooong post too, but I'll re-post her intro line in case others want to go further with it:

"I do not want to settle ever. I don't settle my professional life. I don't want to settle my love life, that's for sure. If Clare is F1, Nikki will be the most realistic F2 that I've ever seen.

His singing wasn't that great, LOL; but, I'd say that it was "from the heart."

^^ He sure is going about it the wrong way since he did not even identify himself as the singer. Oh Mr. West… the memories.

JP was like I choose you Clare and then he was with Nikki and he was like wait no you are the only one for me.....it bet it was really confusing......LOL
