On another note, I'm beginning to wonder if someone put a bug in Clare's ear and she was somewhat privy to how this may play out. She's talking about a ring on that finger the morning of FRC but when he starts to back slide during their conversation, does she tell him to stick it where the sun don't shine? I just don't think we have a crying Clare leaving in a limo/boat! On the other hand, I think he is emotionally undone. How on earth he's going to gather his composure and make it through Nikki's FRC... I HAVE NO IDEA! I've been concerned about that for weeks.

Okay, but if that itm wasn't taken in St. Lucia but back in LA, then why so energetic still, why so happy. You'd think she'd be more reflective and somber if she's been let go at F2. I am thinking there is a whole lot more to the story though...guess we have to wait till Monday.

 I'll go first! Please remember this is JMO. I tend to come sounding like it is what it is when FRC hasn't occured...but

For me, from night one it was about Sharlene, Nikki, Andi, Clare and Renee. By episode 5 after Nikki's FIRST 1-1, it became about Sharlene and Nikki. He realized how much more time Clare had spent with him. He knew she felt secure and had somewhat claimed ownership of him by visiting him in the middle of the night. You have to remember JP isn't privy to TPTB shenanigans as in the many suggestions they have that they know will cause DRAMA. Anyway, I knew or felt it wasn't Clare the moment he asked her not to do it again. That isn't what he said but that was his message. When you're totally "INTO SOMEONE" and come to the show to find "THE ONE" hopefully, you don't deliver that message. At that point, I knew Clare took a backseat to Sharlene and Nikki. It was even more apparent to me when that was Nikki's first 1-1 date...it told me how well it went in JP's eyes. I honestly feel if Sharlene had stayed we would have a totally different edit of JP and Clare would not be part of the FRC. Now, who do I think he would have chosen? I really have no idea. I'm not sure I could have even guessed. I do think Nikki is the best fit for him, though and for some reason I think he's figured that out. I do believe the success of their relationship will totally depend on her. It's just a feeling I get but I think she has his ear and his emotions have now become all in. What that equates to, I don't know just yet but I do feel she can emotionally handle him in a way that he may not have been privy to in the past ...That's my 2 cents and I'm sticking to it.

  
I am sticking to it with ya. Clare is would have said exactly what she said throughout the show to Ben, Brad, Sean, please insert all names of previous bAchelors. She is just unreal and speaking bachelor language

I just can't overlook the time stamps and the fact that we see Clare going in and leaving in the SCs. There's no reason I can come up that explains the last part and I really doubt they'd manipulate the time stamps because those pics are for the media. They don't care at all about the sleuthers.

Yep. This is one of the main reasons I believe Clare is rejected. IDK what happens with Nikki because like DeAnna she could also not come up roses.  
But Clare is definitely rejected because of the timestamps.

thanks for weighing in, albean and nd.... its a lesson learned to me to not carelessly quoting something without the full knowledge of it. so in regard to the doctored time stamp,i  have had it deleted in my post.  :Smiley: 

I think this is the first season in which so many were that "certain" somebody is F2 on account of "time stamps". Guess they really must be THE MOST POWERFUL FORCE IN THE BACHELOR/ETTE UNIVERSE and there is absolutely no way this FRC will be any different than every other non-Jesse Palmer season. Then again, FOUR spoilers insisted that Brooks was F1 and we all know how accurate they were since Desiree is happy and content in Utah right now as we speak.

I still chuckle over how my evil little mind operates...

Since Nikki got ssssooooo much attention during the Victoria meltdown (as if something she does later resembles Victoria)
... and Nikki decided to "change it up" in Korea by interrupting Clare's time before the rose ceremony
... and Clare made the fatal error of saying the Miami suites were "open space" (and FRC locales will also be "open space" since neither Clare nor Nikki are paying for them)
... and Nikki was quite vocal that "Clare is like a dawg. She peed on him first, like she claimed her territory... and the fact is... she claimed some territory that might not be hers."

Oh well... no point thinking up wild theories here. I'm just sitting back and waiting for Monday. Maybe something interesting will happen... maybe not. I do kinda want to see Nikki "win" just so Chris Harrison can roll back Winter Wonderland make-out, Let's Not Kiss make-out, Ocean Romp, Fantasy Suite Hot-tub, among other things... all part of the happy couple's "journey".

No need for all of you to come after me and paddle my behind. I can spank myself. Bad! Bad! Bad!

I have only been watching since New Zealand, but as soon as I saw Clare she just reminded me of some one.  Tonight I was watching last week's Grey's Anatomy and it hit me:

They've manipulated them in the past so why not this time?

I don't believe that they have ever altered the time stamps from what I remember. I also see no reason why they would since the pics aren't for the public and they've never cared about sleuthers figuring things out in the past so why start now?

To me Clare has received a f2 edit all season. She was the early date and far from hidden, the chemistry girl, and very pushy about being beside JP in all group situations. That's a prime f2 edit imo. I know the edit has changed over the years but not really that part. Vienna & Courtney had different edits because they were drama queens and very unlikable. I believe TPTB thought that the viewers would assume they weren't the f1 only because nobody wanted them to be. Clare has been annoying but a lot of people feel the same way about Nikki so don't believe this points to Clare getting the same edit as V/C.

Clare doesn't look awful when CH is walking her out however the time when CH was letting her go to JP was 10:50 and when he's walking her out is 11:24 which is quite a long time. It's very possible they took her somewhere to let her cry after JP rejected her and then touch up makeup before filming her leaving.

It appears that the flowers are same kind as the ones in Nikki's MTP which to me indicates that Clare's SC was from St Lucia. They travel with staging items for a lot of the PIs so think the blue curtain & misc other things were set up by them. The only thing that looks a bit different to me is that her hair is more relaxed when outside but that can be explained by the weather. The nails & makeup look the same to me.

I do agree particularly with the bolded sections.

If someone could present exactly which season this happened that had the ABCmedia net pictures of the person coming first according to the Timestamps end up as F1 - please enlighten us. BTW this should not include Jesse Palmers season where this could have happened because the F2 got sick. Other that Palmers season the Timestamps have told the story of who came first. No doctoring.


Another thought of that screencap where Clare is escorted out by CH. She does appear to be smirking. It is entirely possible that instead of getting upset and crying when she is rejected she merely gets super angry with no tears. Perhaps the tears come later. But if she is angry it makes sense that there are no tears visible.

Can someone dig up a SC of Chantals rejection ? I think she too got angry instead of tearful.

You might be right, nd. I'm sure there's other pics but found this one. I think she may have cried in the limo. Btw she was the prettiest crier ever on the show imo.

I have no trouble with the time stamps being accurate ( and they can be changed) but I'm baffled about why the  numbers on the pictures don't correspond with the order of the time stamps. Two of them with Clare  are after the arrival of Nikki. The other thing that's nagging at me is why do the pictures stop at just the arrival scenes. There may be a twist between the arrival and  the ending, and that's what's got me wonder what it could be.
