So okay to add to the discussion….go back and watch Nikki and JP's FD beach conversation….JP is talking about her dad's comment 100% and right when JP says you're not 100% a heart beat in the backgrounds starts and then it ends when Nikki's "I pull back".   JMO but this ties this season back to Nikki's limo entrance and the beating of her heart and how nervous she is.   What does this little editing mean? I don't know but someone had to add it this scene.    Since I edit videos (for fun) I ask myself why would I put a extra track of a heart beat (start and finish) exactly at that spot in this particular scene.  My thought is to highlight her nerves and bring attention to her nerves….that she isn't as confident as she seems and she should be nervous….or that JP will not be 100% sure.  Any takers to add to the speculation?

IMO, it ties into her intro with Juan Pablo listening to her heart beat.   "Nikki the nurse, boom, boom."  Remember her date card from JP in Vietnam, said "Listen to my heart beat."  I forgot who it was, but someone on twitter noticed the heart beat too...maybe Chris, Des' boyfriend.   

ETA:  They were discussing something of importance...their future.  The heart beat started right after JP asked her "Are you ready for all of this?" I found it telling that Nikki said my natural reaction is to pull back and JP went right in for a kiss. Basically, telling her, no, don't pull back.

Here is my thinking..last Blog he said he wasn't there YET when she said ILY..at that point of the FD..now maybe he just chose her to see where it would go..He said he liked surprises..maybe he will propose at he FRC..now he is there.

I think the adreneline date may of gone by the wayside. Lots of the recent final 1's have had none. To me the stat if there is any to be really affecting the standings of the last 10 bachelor and 5 bachette seasons is the fact that the one that gets the rose 2nd at the FD stage is the eventual F1.

Every detail of this season and post season points to Nikki as F1 IMO. Even going back to past seasons, regardless of rose ceremony order ect. Nikki is getting the F1 edit. Clare is getting the typical F2 edit!

But it is the other stats that are most meaningful and revealing. ESPECIALLY at that point in the game. For the FD epi in Brad 2.0, etc when he let Ashley go before the RC and was just handing out the roses, same with Ashley's season when Constantine left, which is very similiar to this time, the F1's rose was called second. Those are the stats that matter.
