I see Nikki as taking this very seriously. She reasons everything out before her emotions are allowed to be shown. I see JP taking the same path as Nikki. He's very kissy touchy with Clare but he's always following her lead...just as he follows Nikkis. He's no dummy...say what they will! I think he gets every girl there and responds accordingly.

I didn't think so because there was too much emphasis on her deceased father and not enough focus on how their relationship is progressing.

I thought Clare's HTD went fine. I do think JP really likes Clare. I don't think he finds her mature enough to be ready for a ready made family...not emotionally. Bless her heart, the more I hear about her dad, my heart breaks for her.

Okay, I guess I got a completely different vibe tonight with Clare's HTD. I thought he felt secure leaving there that he turned the sister around and even on his side so to speak by the end. Tonight's one reminded me of Catherine's with the sisters in a way.

Yes me too esp when she was worried about her sister staying with mom he calmed her down & she trusted him in the situation & it ended good! It was like a real relationship would go !!

Exactly. I do see the progression of their relationship like a real one. As Juan himself said with her family tonight, it was attraction to begin with, but they also have told each other a lot of stories and background. Again, an example of a whole lot left on the editing room floor.

Isn't Clare half Mexican...I would assume on her mom's side?

^^ Yes, Clare (and her whole family) speaks fluent spanish. Her mom even talked to JP in spanish for a bit during the HTD.
