I do wonder if JaunP saw any of the tension in Clare's HTD family visit. He looked really confused when the sister just sat there when he wanted to speak to the mother lol. And then to top it off, Clare asking her sister to come away from also very funny. JaunP was really unsure how to react for a bit there.
At least now we know from where Clare gets that habit of barging up to another person and then refuse to leave. Hilarious.

IA that it was weird that we didn't hear Nikki while walking in like the others. Not sure why but it's like they buried her date at the beginning - maybe they want us to forget that it was so good.

Nikki had one. She wore it on their HTD.

Thanks. I didn't notice.

I actually heard a portion of that riff during Nikki's date. There are a couple of portions and I heard 1 of them for sure.

Not the one I am waiting for. Only Sharleen got it back in episode #1.

I did not notice the critters and the birds too much on Nikkis date but did on the other 3. Those were very pronounced so perhaps Nikki did get some but not as focused.

She got the cows... both alive and dead... with barbecue sauce.

The one other oddity aside from what murasaki1393 mentioned (Nikki being the only one not commenting on Juan while standing at the rose ceremony line-up) was the way she and Pookie (Andi) hugged after Renee left... and ignoring Clare.

Clare's hometown surprised me the most. I should have known better. The producers like to trick the viewers with their editing, but I was still pleasantly surprised. Maybe because my expectations were so low, but it was not that bad. Loved Clare's Mom! The one over protective ( to put it nicely) sister reminded me of Des's brother Nate. A lot of producer manipulation and prodding I am sure. Thanks for everyone's take on the episode. Hometowns are my favorite. I still believe the editing this season is very strange. I also can't believe how freely the women are able (allowed) to post pictures on social media. :)

I think Clare walked to the RC with attitude. She did not hold Chris's hand like all the others. When Nikki walked out she turned to her and Clare turned to the side.

Ugh! This season is not doing it for me. Usually the HTD's is one of my favorite episodes because by this point I have a favorite and I like to see the lead and my favorite's interactions in a familiar setting. Most of the episode was a snoozefest.

Andi's dad was a tough cookie and I loved it. He wasn't buying JP's BS (hence the snarky questioning, "Is it Juan or Juan Pablo?") and knew that El Bachelor isn't good enough for a woman like Andi. She can do better than Juan Pablo.

Clare and JP have the physical chemistry down pact. The body language displayed by these two is the most entertaining to watch.

We all knew Renee was going home. I questioned why she was given a HTD last week.

I don't care for Nikki. I feel like she's going along with the process and trying to convince herself that she genuinely likes The Bachelor.

I agree with the bolded. I get a vibe from Nikki that she's not in the process. Like tonight for example, in itm, she was stating that she's wanting to tell him how she feels, but not really into it/not feeling it. Almost like she's really trying to convince herself that she's into him.
