Love how good her wedding band goes with her engagement ring! As for her caption, yeah I get all the comments & how they aren't splurging as much now that they are in their normalcy & looking to buy a bigger place.

Perhaps he (they) have also given up those daily Starbucks trips they make or used to make. That could save a lot of money too.

I get it though: $30-40 every couple of weeks is a lot of money if you are trying to buy a house. It's something that is easy to do for yourself and if you put that money in the bank it's a $1000 a year. I'd do it and then treat myself for a special occasion. If small changes like this allow them to have an independent career rather than punching a clock they should be commended for their thriftiness.

I agree. Buying a house needs a strict budget. When we bought the 1st house, the interest rate was 20%! Movies, eating out..had to be cut, and when you have children, the budget has to be even tighter if they want 5 children! Shay and Andrew when they bought the house, they went to her parents for dinner a few times a week 'cause the money was tight. SeanCat still want to travel so cutting little things can only help.

Truth.... Catherine did/does her own nails most of the time anyway. Just as she went to her friendly barber to have her ombre done- not a fancy or even not-so-fancy salon in Seattle.

They are smart to save- not overspend their means. It's not only their house, but apparently Sean has made an investment (according to that interview with Jay). While money probably isn't super-tight it does show that they are paying attention to it.

(It is ironic about the rings, but then Sean didn't have to pay for them. They may, however, have to pay income tax on them!)

Don't mind me but I kinda like what she said on her caption. It is really nice to see for them to acknowledge about how real life is working. Just because they have been in public and did so many appearances and married on tv and got paid doesn't mean it will be like that through out their life . Some people forget that these two people might get so famous by finding love on tv doesn't mean their life revolves in public. That's not how it works .
She might have a big expensive bling doesn't mean they are not thinking themselves and their future . These two are very normal people in their own way despite being in public for a while. People should know how to give their comments in IG pic that she is posting and captioning lol . Just saying.
