Has this dress been worn by Nikki in a previous evening GD or in a previous RC? Does it look familiar?

I took this cap a few weeks ago (don't remember the episode). She's giving a PI. I do remember that it didn't match her outfit of that episode so it was a time travel PI.

I'm wondering if this could be from the evening portion of either her FD or LCD. She looks a little sun-kissed to my eye. We still only have caps for her fantasy date (horseback riding). Why are they being sooo stingy with caps surrounding her dates?

If, if, if this is from St. Lucia, then I think we can establish two evening portions of St. Lucia dates -- the white dress and the purple dress...even if we have no actual date caps to support it. We can use process of elimination to establish it's St. Lucia if we can prove she hasn't worn this outfit yet. Make sense?

Going back to the premise that the preview tells the story of the season (and I know people dispute this, but please be patient and let me explain), it's not surprising that Andi's F3 date caps were cut. Yes, they existed, but her date was irrelevant...because she walks off at F3. So those weren't in the preview...it's the most efficient way to tell the story that there is a problem for Andi in St. Lucia. Remember the preview is 4 minutes, give or take.

We get Nikki horseback riding caps so in that glimpse of the preview we were able to determine she was in St. Lucia (at least F3 and as it turns out maybe F2...or F1). But the fact we have no more of Nikki in St Lucia in the original preview is my red flag that Nikki is there at the end. Is she or isn't she? According to the preview, no.

We have both of Clare's St. Lucia dates...not in your face obvious...we had to slug through a lot of caps and had multiple discussions, but were able to conclude those dates were Clare's. JBF's edit analysis of the VOs during that preview point to Clare. JBF, please cmiiw.

So if, if, if the story of the season is told in the preview, it all points to Clare, IMO.

I agree with you. I used to be skeptical about the season previews telling a story, not to talk of revealing the F1. After JBF and Mura "saw" that Chris was the F1 based on their analysis of that season's preview, I have to admit that I went back and viewed that preview and saw myself that the answer was truly there all along. I also took the time to watch those of Sean and Emily's seasons and I saw a pattern forming. It was in view of this that I took a critical look at the 1,000 previews released for this season and equally believe that the signs point to Clare.

One simple thing to look for is the theme for the season. Go back and view as many season previews as you can find, the lead will ALWAYS have a VO of that theme over shots of him/herself and the F1. Now that you know the F1's for those season's you'll see how it will jump at you! Where Desiree had "Fairy-tale" for JP IMO it's "Real (deal)." IF I'm wrong....O Blady, O Blada...

Ok just to post where my head is at w.r.t the promo's of FDs and LCD dates.

So - if there are "missing" SCs from the Season Previews it is likely that they will pop up during the Mid-season promo's. For eg. Emily was MIA after the F6 stage from the original promos just because they wanted to build the suspense of the will-she-won't-she allow Brad to see her daughter.
However we did see her in the mid-season previews (if someone could find and post those - excellent).

The fact the that Mid-season previews this season still don't show proof that either Nikki or Andi have a second date sets up the red flag for me. Not the initial promos.

That cap of Nikki was most likely from week 2 (or 3 but im pretty sure it was 2). She wore that top and a glittery skirt to the RC.

Thanks, I think you're right. So only Nikki in a white dress for either a FD or LCD in St. Lucia. Things that make me go hmmm...

The "St Lucia tan" would apply only to Clare Nikki and Andi not Renee. Unless there is something in the sleuthing that we all missed and it in fact Renee does turn up at St Lucia. Very possible.  Has that been sleuthed for a fact ?

If Renee is not in St Lucia then the whole tan issue is a moot point. Because Renee clearly has a tan in those PIs.

Also - if those PIs were in fact post-season then they would have to be filmed within 1 day to 10 days of filming end for the tans to be that strong ?
Would the 3 rejected B'ettes look that comfy re-hashing the season so soon  (within 2 weeks or so) after being dumped (or in Andi's case walking off).

The ONLY reason I am suspicious that Renee might "boomerang" is because the promo which Chris Harrison narrated has her shown over both the words "Monday and Tuesday"... and they generally would not be that sloppy with their edits if she is not supposed to be there on Tuesday. They also keep showing her face with all of the fantasy suite drama, regardless if she has anything to do with it.

Now... IF she does visit, it would just be for "closure"... or something else that has no impact on the outcome.

Agree - she does seem to feature in the "day 2" of the promo.  So therefore they are doing the back to back episodes !

But wouldn't they be tipping their hand if they didn't show her in the 2-episode promo? If they don't show her as a possibility for Tuesday, they're basically saying she gets eliminated after hometowns.

Basically the promos focus on him wanting to set a good example for his daughter, but Ocean Gate was one of several events he didn't see coming... even though BOTH he and Clare were active participants. Yet he is not a total prude... "this is what I need... this is what I want" is not spoken over shots of him playing on the swing-set with Camilla. Clare got confused because, in her words, there were mutual feelings involved in Vietnam and he confused her as to whether he wanted a wife or just a Platonic "girlfriend", especially with him wanting to be "fair" with contestants who may not all be that "into" him in the first place. (I guess... to avoid any war here... I will tentatively say that Nikki seems to want him, only her edit and body language still baffles me a bit.) In short, he is not JUST looking for a stepmother. He wants a lover too... and the theme song used twice on Clare dates stresses that point.

For me, the dead giveaway in the promos is Juan telling Clare to her face that "This is the real deal". In Korea, Nikki says she "wants" the real deal and Andi says this "could be" the real deal... yet Juan is doing the talking for Clare and looking at her straight in the eye. (Earlier I commented on Nikki's sitdown in Korea, before the rose ceremony, discussing "look at me" body language with guys and girls... which Juan employed with Clare when she was crying in Vietnam.)

More puzzle pieces in the storyline fell into place when TV Grapevine posted the upcoming scene of Juan and Clare's mother speaking "Spanglish" together (an obvious sign that he will fit right in with that bilingual family), much of the talk centered on her conservative views on marriage. It is important to note that Clare did not see that conversation... and unless she visits the TV Grapevine site or another video source, won't see it until Monday.

Also Juan has consistently been shown making a fuss over Camilla and the whole "Countdown" show was all about HIS family... as if trying to sell himself to a future bride. (Example: his sister announcing her pregnancy on national TV. Clare pretending to be pregnant out of the limo... Juan was not offended, but enjoyed the joke.) His father also taught him to be patient... and he is with Clare, since her Ice Princess talk is a genuine hurdle to overcome.  

There is some sort of parallel between the conflict between Clare vs. Nikki and Clare vs. her sister on hometown, but we have to see how it plays out.

I'm hoping that she DOES stay and is in the F2 because I like the relationship that she and Juan Pablo have despite some of the cattiness she's been a part of with Clare.

I asked a similar question a while back... What made everybody absolutely certain Andi left before Nikki? After all, Nikki is edited in many of the same spots as Brooks was in last season's mid-season promo, shown crying a lot. Drew (like Andi) was presented as the one who would bolt on her, also suggesting some sort of "problem" in the fantasy suite as well. "It is something you can't control... it just happens" sounded like a replay of Jillian's Ed and his volcano failing to erupt. Remember when Mister Spoiler King insisted that Zak Waddell had a problem in the fantasy suite? Zak didn't even make it there.

I'm still not totally convinced of Clare being the F1. I think Fleiss and Co. have done a job of purposely hiding Nikki in the previews. There are some caps of her, but they are not as prominent (eg., not showing her face, but showing the back of her and her hair). I could be wrong, but I do enjoy all the sleuthing back and forth.
