I can't argue with the things you guys are saying regarding chemistry not proving an F1, but I do wonder how this is going to all play out if Nikki is the chosen one. Remember Nikki gave an ITM at the soccer game, stating she was "a little competitive and by a little I mean a lot." Her relationship with Clare is so contentious that I just cannot imagine how these Clare scenes are sitting well with her as this season is being shown. Why doesn't Juan Pablo pay any attention to Nikki in his blogs?

If MF wants his couple to be successful, this edit doesn't seem like it will be helpful. I can see MF doing this (showing the chemistry with Chantel) in the Brad 2.0 season in order to break his couple up...so he could ultimately get Emily as his Bachelorette choice. It's possible...but what purpose does it serve to show Nikki with her "dark side" and the hot chemistry with Clare...just to keep her hidden as F1 to the audience? Nikki's edit doesn't make any sense to me.

Hmmm, july was posting while I was typing this up...so taking into account her statements, is what we are seeing just about ratings to MF? I guess that shouldn't surprise me. Maybe none of this is supposed to make sense...

First like he told Chris H. Nikki is Nikki. I don't see where he is saying much about Clare in his blogs. His comment about their date is short. H e make sure to tell us something about his time with Nikki that we don't get to see. What will his F1 think well that's why he told Clare it was a mistake to go on the night swim in the ocean. My belief is that he has already decided who his F1& F2 are and now it all about playing the role.

We have. Last season with Des, then with Emily/Brad, then with Sean/Catherine. It is there if you look. If you don't then you won't find it.

But you have to admit, that season was all about drama as they had to do that to fool the audience. What's happening this time......full of drama to take away the possibility of Clare being F1. With Ben, drama circled Courtney. With Juan, drama circling Clare. Big similiarities.

There is no denying that there is fun and chemistry between JP and Clare.
But it doesn't prove that she's going to be F1...

I remember Emilie's season. I still can't understand why after having so much fun with Arie, so hot chemistry and very specific comments and behaviour with him she didn't end up with him. For me, that's proof that there is more than we can see on screen (or being shown).

...perhaps if you are looking at her EDITED personality. We DON'T know her true personality. The producers do not gave two if the viewers fall in love with the F1 or not. They edit the show the way that they feel will drive up ratings.

very true julychild. We DON'T know who she really is in life. We are only being shown the edited version of her. I think that is something that needs to be kept in mind.

Just like in Bach Canada, editing does matter. There is a lot more to Clare than what we are seeing and the drama with her is very much like Courtney. Courtney wasn't liked either by the women.

And that is pure speculation. You would think that because JP is a Dad, the producers would want to show from that side of the F1, why leave such an important thing out? Who did he invite to meet Camilla in Miami? Nikki. Perhaps he felt the most comfortable with her meeting his daughter.

Editing works both ways.

And edit can choose to not show some things, but what we see on screen is real, it hasn't been transformed. What I have seen from Clare's personality doesn't bold well with me.

Her attitude, facial expressions were there. Not imagining them...
