Not if the caps below are Juan letting Renee go at the HTD RC. So, could that upper left cap be from a FS evening date? That's what I was leaning towards...not the FRC suit.

You think he would be allowing Renee to pour out her heart to him and also smile at her the way he is just prior to the HTD RC ? That is cold if so. Could he be smiling AFTER not giving her the rose while she is clearly with tears in her eyes and telling him her feelings ? Also cold and he has cried when letting go other contestants. I don't see tears here just a smile.
Though both the above scenarios could be possible.

Also, they normally don't have a cocktail party prior to the HTD RC ? At least I don't remember the lead spending time with any of the contestants prior to that RC.

They did a clever splicing of two separate shots in the preview. He is sitting in front of the fountain at Loews in the second shot. While Renee's scene has a solid colour (wall?) background.

Yes, thanks, I've actually looked through a lot of TripAdvisor pics looking for that stonework...but no such luck. Maybe it's in a similar room, but not the one he stayed in.

These are possible PIs in St Lucia. Clare looks tan in both her caps and so does Nikki. In Juan's cap on the right side, I lightened it a lot to see if I could get any detail on the screen...so he lost a little of his tan.   If you need any of the shots separate from the rest, I can do that. For now, it's just easier and faster to post together.

Yeah... as you suggested above. I don't think Red outfit Clare is there. She is talking about the rose on the date in New Zealand and she looks exactly like she does on that date. It is possible that Juan has a matching one floating around, since he was the only other one in that house.

That date was... a little odd. I can't place my finger on why. Clare and Juan looked a little different on the picnic than inside. Oh well... may not be anything.

The Nikki one looked "Asiatic" to me, but her hair looks too light. (Going through past episodes, I am surprised as to just how much Nikki really dislikes everybody. On her "Pop" date in Korea, she makes me laugh instantly about her head going "pop" because she's "spending the day with five other girls who are quite annoying". Andi was on the other group date.)

Honesty, JBF, I looked for it everywhere. I can't find anyone with that background. If someone can find another cap, I'll gladly post it. Remember, those were the PI's where Juan talked about "Dah-am Hooh" and he gets hot talking about Clare...definitely a different background. Here was the interior of his place...originally posted up thread.

He doesn't have green walls...the stonework is different...note his PI screen in his living room. That's why I'm thinking St. Lucia.

ETA: If, if, if this is St Lucia, is this PI from post filming? If so, she looks like a happy Clare to me...not broken-hearted.

I goofed... missed your top post a second time. Corrected my wording. Yeah... if that shot is not New Zealand, they did an EXCELLENT job matching outfit and hair.

Then again... since that date felt a trifle odd to me, I would NOT be surprised in the least if the evening portion of that date was shot in Los Angeles post-show!

I should say that I might be way wrong that it takes place in St. Lucia. I'm only speculating, but I have no better location to go with at this moment. It just feels odd to have that one lone PI if it was in, say, NZ...especially not having it match any known surroundings.

storyline wise, i was just about wondering about the upper right PI too (and yes.. ITA she is tan here). This `reconciliation` scene took place at NZ, so its safe to speak that it probably filmed in NZ or beyond. we can exclude Miami and HTD. so i think St.Lucia is reasonable.

I also cant recall finding any of the 3 right backdrops in other contestant`s PI except JuClare.   

Do you think it is possible that those are from where the final couple staying?..or perhaps Jade Mountain?..  

Speaking of which,--i hate to ask, since maybe it was already revealed a long ago- could u pls fill me in about the backdrop on 0: 59 ? is it in NZ? [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Ok, I can't sleep so I might as well do this tonight. I don't know where else to put this, so here it will be. Sorry  . Thanks to Litta for the quality SC's. You are so much better at explaining these things than I am, so please add anything I may have left out. Merci!

A little background:
For those of us who have been sleuthing SC's since the season commenced, you'll know that we are of the opinion that the SC's below were filmed by the F4, in LA, post finale. This has been discussed in earnest so I will not be rehashing the arguments made which led to that conclusion, but I or anyone else who knows will answer any questions:

Here is a SC of Lucy on the first episode giving a PI with the same screen in the background. Just to point out that the screen was seen at the mansion:

One more of Clare making yet another time-travel/filler PI, used in NZ. Same screen:

The story:

In going through the released HTD photos, I observed that JP gave Clare a Venezuelan bracelet (it's red, blue and yellow- Vzla national colours). You can always take a look at the photos to confirm this yourself, Clare is also seen wearing the bracelet in the night portion of their date, in the preview. However this is not a big deal, because there are photos of him giving the same type of bracelet to Renee in those group of photos.


This is what I think is worthy of note. Let's take a moment and discard anything we may feel we know about how the season ends and simply take an objective look at this. Below is a close-up SC of Clare in one of her "presumed" post-finale PI's still wearing that same bracelet!

This to me seem like a solid catch and I have been sitting on it for a while because I needed to be sure the bracelet wasn't something that she got as part of her swag. Myself, Litta, JBF and ND have had discussions about this through PM's, but it is time for everyone to weigh in on it. You may ask: would the producers let her wear the bracelet knowing JP gave it to her? Well, my answer to that is, producers are human and they make mistakes too.

Here are the questions: Would Clare still want to wear a gift from JP if he recently broke her heart? Is this proof enough that Clare is indeed the F1?

We may have a "bracelet-gate" or we may have nothing. At least we'll have fun discussing it.  :bigsmile:
