People that watch this show may be biased to either Clare or Nikki, and see things they way they want. However, I have an unbiased opinion on last night, and from someone who has never watched one episode of this series. My brother and his family lost their home in a fire, and they have moved in with me and my husband temporarily. My sister in law sat and watched the episode with me on Monday. She had heard of the show, but had never watched it. Her response to Clare and Nikki's confrontation was that it was all Clare's fault. She said "if Clare would have just let it be, it wouldn't have gotten that bad." She also responded to Clare's comments at the RC by saying, "she is just mean." I did not have a conversation with her prior to the show, so her opinion was unbiased, and untainted.

Then why do you keep typing/repeating it.

Instead of calling out members on the board(which I believe is against the rules), lets get back to discussing the show!nonnie wrote:Aunties_Love wrote:My name is Aunties_Lovenonnie wrote:Hey coastal maybe you need to reread her post.Aunties_Love wrote:Maybe because others keep arguing and trying to say their peace so it makes sense to say hers?nonnie wrote:eversotrue wrote:Jeepers...That's also a given. I would tend to agree with respect to that particular argument...based on how it was edited. However, that whole sequence was all chopped up and we missed much of the conversation leading up to it. It was also all set up by producers to produce the desired effect. Unfortunately, I am a horse that refuses to be led to the water...and I most definitely, will not drink said water (AKA...kool aid). The whole thing was edited for the unspoiled viewer who doesn't know much of what goes on behind the scenes and generally falls for what is presented.
For me, at different times, both women have acted poorly. I am not going to get into a tit for tat over which one was more wrong and when she was wrong. Cumulatively, I don't particularly care for either one of them. Clare seems to be very emotional, impulsive, easily manipulated and easily slighted. Nikki seems to be negative, socially awkward and snotty. I'm sure producer prodding and manipulations didn't help either. Not to mention editing. The result is their faults are being highlighted for the world to see. Over the course of the show...both are at fault. Period.

Nikki
ITA. as they said, those sneaky producers cant make `something2` out of anything, unless you gave them, either consciously, or unconsciously. When you `accidentally` do, be prepare for your doomsday :atomic:
I`d like to take Renee, the sweetheart one, as the example..IMO they just can`t find something to make fun of her. And its not merely bc she has a son. We have had mommy Michelle Money anyway..

Thanks for sharing this. I hope that your brother and his family are okay and able to get back on their feet soon, bless you for helping them.

I can honestly say that I don't have a favorite this season, but I don't think that JuanP or any of his F4 are getting a particularly good edit from production. I do agree that Clare is being highlighted as overly emotional and easily slighted. Nikki is being shown to be socially awkward in some situations, which she fully embraced in some of her PI's. She is coming across as snarky and standoffish, with at least some of the other women there. Cliques were formed early on, and some of the women probably felt excluded by Nikki.
I have known people whose snarkiness came across as negative, to the point that I did not even enjoy being around them. And sometimes I would even question whether or not that snarky comment was meant to be funny or was a putdown. It is hard to determine what is real and what is just their "edit" - per the story line for this season. Some of the women I like, and some I don't. But, I am basing this purely on what I have seen by watching the edited episodes. Like I said, no one is getting a completely clean edit this season.

I think, like every friendship, there are people you click with and people you don't.
I'm not fans of Nikki and Andi but I would never say "Oh, they're not nice people." They just aren't girls that I would probably be friends with. Same as vice versa for how some people feel about Clare, Chelsie, ect. That being said, we only know the edited version of what we're shown, so I am always open to my opinion being changed.

Something I've noticed that Juan Pablo does with Nikki A LOT is he is always whispering in her ear. I don't see him do this with anyone else.

That is very true. I "get" the humor that Nikki is putting forth and I also enjoy her and Andi. I would not be caught dead hanging out with Clare. To me she reads as a vapid little girl using looks and manipulation to get her way and then stamps her feet and throws a hissy when she feels she hasn't gotten what she believes she deserves.
To each his own.
