Sean and Catherine Lowe - General Discussion

Umgirl I love you girl , one could always know when they are going  to spread their venom ; they start with  a lot of praises and towards the end they start  with all the negativity. I am so happy with the recent replies; this is my first time writing on this board . It's a pleasure reading all the sisterly love . In spite of all the differences we are one big family. Family  spoon bends but do not break .This sounds better in creole. I am from the lovely island of St.Lucia and lives there. St lucia is breath taking we are unique has the only  walkin vocano, in the world,speaks two languages French creole and english which is our first language  can see it on the bachelor .

read wetpaint article "Jason Mesnick: Juan Pablo Was Made to Look Bad Because He Doesn’t Propose".. this tells us behind the scene...of manipulation and games played by the producers of TB and may be chris harrison too...this is why i think Catherine was initially not CH's favourite..and she was edited badly

Welcome Momon001! St. Lucia is so beautiful- one of my favorite vacation spots I've ever been. I once heard it described by a friend (who also lives there) that it is the "Hawaii of the Caribbean" and I agree! Stunning!  :Smiley: 

And umngirl and Lipsis, I totally agree with you guys. Very well stated posts... I wish I could have Sean & Catherine's life and I'm so thankful for all the opportunities they've had and will continue to pursue... and keep shining brightly like they always do!

Good Morning Seancat family. First welcome to Momon00 from the lovely island of St Lucia, one of my favorite places of beauty anywhere. Second happy birthday to Papa Jay, a man who embodies all the good qualities in a man of God, Dad and Grandpa mixed with a wickedly funny sense of humor.

Friends, Sean and Catherine are NOT living a "normal" life. They met on a TV show and fell madly in love. They have been given the opportunity in this small part of their forever to bring joy, fun, humor, beauty and above all the example of dedication and true beautiful love to a whole bunch of people who NEVER would have heard of them. You do not become TV reality stars, which they did like it or not, and not have a following. Lucky for us they set such positive examples of goodness.
Many in the general public have no idea who they are but for the group of people interested in the Bachelor and batch alumni they are a presence.
Some day they will fade into a word or two here and there but right now they are still in the glow of their lovely story played on on TV for all who cared to watch.
They will be loved or criticized up the wazoo and that's typical for people in the "TV personality news"
Those of us who love and cherish their story and their sweetness will always look for the positive.
These two will always march to a different drummer and God had given them that job.
Think of all the doors they've opened with their mortality and kindness as examples. Jealousy is always alive when people are successful.

Who says they have to live a normal life anyway? They are living the life they choose to live, and they are doing that together.

One thing I don't get is the comparisons of each of the couples of this franchise. Why are they compared to each other, they are all different. And most of them do go on social media, so Sean and Catherine are no different then say J.P., Trista, Desiree, etc, who all post on twitter and IG, etc.

I also think you don't have to only love Sean and Catherine, and not the other couples. It's okay to be a fan of more than one of these couples. I am a huge Trista and Ryan fan and I think they are a beautiful couple with a beautiful family. They were my favorite couple from this show until Sean and Catherine. Ashley and J.P. are also a wonderful couple who I loved watching, and still like to follow on twitter, etc. As much as I love Sean and Catherine, that doesn't diminish these other wonderful couples, but maybe that's just me.

I also don't get not only the comparisons as far as their lifestyles, but saying that no other couple can ever be what Sean and Catherine are, etc. I think that some of these couples from this show are pretty amazing. The never ending couples comparison is stupid to me. I mean can they just moved on and leave it that way. Because "there is no comparison in the first place". Everytime I read this kind of post on the other forum it makes me laugh. I am sorry if I offended someone but that's the truth! Okay moving on!

What I just do not get is why do we have to talk about other couples on Sean and Catherine's forum? If I really want to know about the other couples I will follow them and the fact that I do not it means I am not a fun and I really to do not care about them at all. I love Sean and Catherine only and those are the only two I am here on this forum for and I would appreciate if we leave the other couples in their forums were they belong. If you bring them here I will not hesitate to say no other couple married or not from The Bachelor will ever meet the standards of Sean and Catherine. Sean and Catherine are the best thing that ever happened for ABC and The Bachelor.
