Some day they will fade into a word or two here and there but right now they are still in the glow of their lovely story played on on TV for all who cared to watch.
They will be loved or criticized up the wazoo and that's typical for people in the "TV personality news"
Those of us who love and cherish their story and their sweetness will always look for the positive.
These two will always march to a different drummer and God had given them that job.
Think of all the doors they've opened with their mortality and kindness as examples.   Jealousy is always alive when people are successful.

It seems like this discussion comes up every time someone mentions all of the negative tabloid articles and criticism on social media about SeanCat. Truthfully, this is the only time I think it'd be nice to go about your life quietly. Rarely do we read nasty tabloid articles about some of the other successful couples. But I guess that's what happens when you're 'out there' more. Sean and Cat have been on TV more than those couples, and their level stardom is a whole different animal.

I haven't seen Sean or Cat complain about it, they seem to be doing a good job at living their lives and focusing on the positive aspects, and there's nothing wrong with that! They've just been on a different trajectory, and we haven't really seen that with the other success stories, which is why people bring up the less public lives of Trist/Ryan, JP/Ash, and the Seattleites in comparison.

One thing I don't get is the comparisons of each of the couples of this franchise. Why are they compared to each other, they are all different. And most of them do go on social media, so Sean and Catherine are no different then say J.P., Trista, Desiree, etc, who all post on twitter and IG, etc.

I also think you don't have to only love Sean and Catherine, and not the other couples. It's okay to be a fan of more than one of these couples. I am a huge Trista and Ryan fan and I think they are a beautiful couple with a beautiful family. They were my favorite couple from this show until Sean and Catherine. Ashley and J.P. are also a wonderful couple who I loved watching, and still like to follow on twitter, etc. As much as I love Sean and Catherine, that doesn't diminish these other wonderful couples, but maybe that's just me.

I agree with you too! I like Trista and Ashley but I only Love SeanCat, period.

Okay so, how about a walk down memory lane?

Just over a year ago Sean gave his interview after the WTA. One of my favorites. (Sorry in advance about Tierra)



And a year ago right now Sean was making the media rounds to promote the finale (JPab? Crickets!) and could hardly contain his excitement that the wait to be together with Catherine was just about over. Yes, boys do glow! Oh and just ignore his "back and forth" nonsense. We know better.

If the other couples were very successful as what other people think then ABC would make a big deal out of them. The fact that ABC respects Sean and Catherine more than any other couple it means they are more successful than any other couple. These couples have their forums so lets just keep them in their places were they belong. I want to read about Sean and Catherine only and that is why I am on this forum. Please make a big deal about your other couples in their forum and we will make a big deal of the couple of integrity Sean and Catherine in their forum. Sean and Catherine represent something we love and so please do not tarnish their image by comparing them with couples in this forum. Lets learn to separate issues. Other couples have not even walked an inch in Sean and Catherine's shoes.

I will give you one straight forward answer with you that could answer your post atleast and hope you won't be offended. " Because Sean's had a good bachelor season. He brought a different season of bachelor that did not happen from the past". " People were into his season because of the good values that he brought out on the show plus his being down to earth and grounded attracted to most of the fans of the bachelor . I think he had been appeared on the bachelor franchise many times because they knew and aware how likable he is on the public and I think seancat still the talk of the most fans of this franchise because they fell in love with them and knowing how this franchise you can never trust how it plays because mostly peole go on this show without thinking the right way. What they really want. That's the point. Now about the media tabs issue. I think to me personally seancat  would never ever going to get away with them because let us face it. " throwing seancat name with their bs articles means more hits and  more talk. I think for the lowes they came to understand that their life will always be the target by the media tabs and they have proven that time to time . Really? Wherever they are/whatever they are doing they can't control the public . For now this is what it is. They know time to time them being sensational will not be there forever and I think as long that they are doing the right thing of dealing with it and it is just part of them being the product of reality . I don't see them so famous instead they are well like and love by the bachelor fans . So for them having haters are just normal and the jealousy is coming out from everyone . On the other couples are so different from the seancat situation. On ryan/trista during their time there is no social media so even they were so famous that time their life much be easier than seancat . The Mesnicks/ Rosenbaums their season are not that much the same with the seancat and their life in media and public is much easier too. On the chres , I think there is a reason why hey are not getting the much attention not that saying they are not love of course they are and I am not talking any comparison here. I think her ending still come out to some of the people . I think abc tend to forget them sometimes that they do have another success story that now is approaching their big day and yet abc still tend to not put a lot of attention to them and I think this is the one reason their fans are hurting a little bit as I observed and the talk of the lowes usually coming out time to time. And I hope abc change that soon:)

I'm pretty sure I haven't broken any rules in any discussions here, so I will gladly continue to post as I see fit. Feel free to scroll right by my posts. 

When I mentioned 'successful' couples, I  meant the few couples who are still together. Of course Sean was a very successful Bachelor. Both in the sense that he found his wife, and was able to make a good run on DWTS, side gigs, promotional stuff, and anything else he has coming up.

Sean and Cat are happy, who cares how they're making a living? It may not be 'conventional,' but neither is how they met. It might not be normal, but they're happy.

I just want to understand when we say the in bold what to we mean. Conventional and normal to who's standard. I think Sean and Catherine's living is very conventional and very normal. So many people are living their lives the same way and no one has said it is unconventional. I know so many of these couple are getting free thing and no one has said it may not be conventional the way they are getting things. I just want to understand.
