I guess it's only fair to note that Holly and Blake Julian met and fell in love on BP. Also, while Tenley and Kiptyn knew each other before doing the show, they did have their first date on BP and are still (or again) dating. That's two couples still together in 3 shows. Better odds than The Bachelor.

Thanks guys. I think I have only had a glimpse of an episode of Big Brother. I generally watch very little TV, so I wouldn't know the premise of such a show. The concept sounds intriguing though and $250K is a lot of money.

Hi ladies ! Sorry for bringing this up . I was at the other forum and we'll never a secret that they just had their engagement party last night based from their social media and the their new Seattle couple friends tweeted something from their event . I read that someone from people mag was there last night to captured all the spectacular celebration . And even said that their engagement photos that she took will be publicized soon in people mag. I wonder how come we haven't seen any seancat engagement photos that we saw during the bachelor love stories segment that they filmed ? I kinda want to see some of those . Not that it's a big deal to me. Knowing seancat engagement party were thrown by her family and friends and media like people mag wasn't even there   The fact that people mag wrote a little article of their wedding. That's all good .

^Although we saw them shooting their engagement photos in that special, I'm okay with never seeing any of them. Just like I'm perfectly okay if we never see any of their official wedding photos besides the ones we have already. Some things they want to keep to themselves and those closest to them and that's perfectly fine.

As for the other couple, I can't comment on their arrangement in terms of pictures being released mainly because I don't care and because whatever publicity deals they have obviously aren't the same as what SeanCat have/had (no official photographer at their party & pictures in a magazine).

I agree umngirl. We've been privileged to see what we've been able to see. I think Sean and Catherine were able to have just the event that they wanted. They were obviously in on all the wedding night joke (though they wish that we had seen other things that were filmed and think it was overkill) and they didn't know anything about the honeymoon suite cam until they watched the replay.

It could be that some family members on one side or the other really didn't want to be in the press, so a public engagement party wasn't something they wanted. And it may explain their happiness with the live wedding with very little or no reception footage so family and friends could let their hair down without seeing pictures in magazines afterwards (we may see a little of the reception on WTA but only a few minutes).

The engagement parties are not an ABC deal. They are private functions. Each couple negotiated or didn't negotiate with the mag for what, if any, coverage they wanted.

And I agree with you guys too. Also, JMO..let's remember, we are just a bunch of HAPPY fans and not a family member of The Lowes personal and/or social group even though most of the time we feel like we are.  We are the ones stalking their every move and we really like stalking them because they are such a lovely interesting couple.  So, whatever they are willing to share with us, I am good with that. With that being said, Mr. and Mrs. Lowe, share more pics of you guys!  :Smiley:
