Re: *No Spoilers* The Bachelor 18 Media Thread
I'm not really sure what is means. Do the women walk away before the actual FRC? If so, does one of them return to give the Juan a second chance? The not proposing is nothing new, but both women leaving before the actual FRC would definitely be something new. If someone returns, I think it would be Nikki who might be the one who will give him a second chance. imoHotmomma wrote:2observe wrote:Has anyone seen the March 2014 edition of Life & Style???? No I haven't..
Makes me wonder if he didn't propose..but gave a final rose? And she said no way buddy..
That bring me back to the conversation Nikki was saying something about how he is holding back..I think it was in the previews..and than asking his mom about is he ready?...to it sounds like Niki is there but JP is not!..
As he said in his blog not YET!..as of their FD..

The above comment stood out to me as well. Juan Pablo using the word "yet" as if he wasn't in love with her at that point, but almost 4 months post show, he is.

this comment is relevant.
He could have just said : my feelings for her are not there since there are still 2 other women I care for. But instead, she chose to add "YET". Quite significant ...
It's a question of time, meaning it would come later.

Re: *No Spoilers* The Bachelor 18 Media Thread
However, i wanna share what caught me off guard about JPab`s blog :
--He dedicated 3 paragraph titles only for Nikki---Nikki got a rose, Nikki gets 1-on-1 and Surprise for Nikki while Clare got none...#
--Through out the season, been in too many dates, He only posted 1 selfie photo of him with his date, that is the one of him and Nikki on Miami date. That is the only `courtesy of Juan Pablo` pic with both pose for the camera..while for the other dates he posed by himself . Even if there are another ones with his dates, all were released by ABC media..and yes, including Clare`s first 1-1a
-- on last epis, he didnt mention Clare`s `falling in love with you`..like, at all.
THAT, my friend, IMO, is very telling. : A shout out to his love or...as in his own words, he likes being sneaky aka likes to confuse us to no end?. Guess time will tell..
#ETA. I have gone back and actually found one, that is Mistake with Clare . Amusingly, he repeated the word "Mistake" in his VO at the end of his FD with Clare. hmmmm....

just having a flash back.....Des translated her emotions--borrowing your words--blubbering over Chris`s Individually Defined Poem in Madeira and the L bomb ---to a beautifully written narrative on her blog of Episode 7...
However for this season,.. hey!!..as Andi suggested us, JPab has some serious language barrier..so..perhaps he still cant find perfect words to describe Clare`s ILY since he still cant get over it..?...who knows...you know, just to be As Fair As Possible...

Going into this week, I knew how difficult it was for Clare, because she had to wait a long time from her hometown visit to see me again. I was excited to see her and was hoping to have a good day with her, talking about her family and our time in Sacramento.
As she’s only been in the ocean once before, I thought it would be great to take her on a yacht and swim a little bit. On the yacht it rained a lot, so we hid a couple of times inside. During the night, we had a nice chat and I loved when she talked about how important my daughter was for me. She wasn't sure whether or not to accept a night in the fantasy suite. After talking, she agreed to spend the night together and I was glad she did.
I couldn't wait to see her face when she found out what we were going to do. As soon as she saw the horses, her silent smile was contagious. I was dying for a horseback-riding date, but unfortunately you only saw two minutes of our hour-and-a-half horseback ride. We had a blast. After talking on the beach, we swam, and I found out she is a little scared of waves, which is kind of cute.
Dinner with Nikki was so easy, and I loved talking to her. She decided to spend the night with me, but before that, she dropped the “I love you.” I wasn't really expecting that, and you could see it by my reaction. As my feelings for her are not there yet, I wanted to keep quiet rather than saying something that she may have taken the wrong way. I was very pleased with my night with Nikki. I really got to know her really well.
Desiree on her final three... no ILY here, but Chris already said it in Madeira anyway.

(About Brooks) I am relieved now that he was honest about his feelings and that he was brave enough to address them before taking the relationship further. I wish Brooks could have felt more comfortable coming to me sooner but it was better that it happened in Antigua and not down the road.
That night, away from cameras, I was able to learn more about his childhood, high school years and future goals. All of that gave me even more insight to what a life would be like with Drew.
(About Chris) He was so nervous to discuss relocating, but that is such an important discussion to have and I'm glad that he brought it up. I have always been open to that if I love someone because I don't feel I have roots anywhere. This turned out to be a positive talk that brought us closer together.
Sean Lowe on his final two... he pretty much is falling in love with two here but only mentions Lindsay reciprocating.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Everything about my time with Lindsay felt right and I knew I was starting to fall in love with her. Hearing her tell me she loved me solidified what I saw in her eyes every time she looked at me.
After sending Des home, I wondered if I would wake up and realize that I had made a mistake. Fortunately, that was not the case. Instead, I woke up and realized that I couldn't get enough of Catherine. I was always so happy around her and I think despite our different lifestyles, we were actually a really good fit together. Her sense of humor, her adventurous nature and her intellect kept me wanting more.
Our snorkeling date was fun, but my favorite part came later. That storm swept in so quickly, and we rushed back to the boat for cover but the moment seemed too romantic not to share a kiss in the rain. I knew I was falling in love with Catherine. That realization led me to the next one ... I had to send AshLee home.
Emily... should we even bother with her blog? She is practically ready to send Little Rikki to Scottsdale.

I loved that Jef had thought about those things because it showed me that his heart was in the right place. He really wanted to meet Ricki, but I wasn't 100 percent sure about involving her yet, even though in order to really know me you have to know her. When I offered Jef the overnight card it just confirmed everything I already knew about him.
(About Arie) As confident as I was about my feelings, I still didn't know what my life would be like in Scottsdale, Ariz., so I had a lot of questions for him. We communicate so well – it makes me feel like we've known each other for much longer. His thoughts on growing a relationship with Ricki made me confident that Arie gets kids. I know Ricki would love him. (BUT WHAT ABOUT YOU?!?)
As much as I would've loved to spend more time with Arie, it was best to call it a night. Like I said before, I'm so confident in my relationships that I knew a couple of hours off camera wasn't going to change anything.
Ben.. oh bruther.

Later that day, Lindzi really started to open up to me even more. I know it's hard for her and that she likes to go for the joke before the serious moment. Sometimes it's great to be with someone who is so playful and light-hearted, but I also want to be married to someone who I can have serious discussions with and will tell me how she really feels. The last few weeks, Lindzi has been doing that.
For the first time, I truly felt in love with this woman and was really looking forward to dinner to see if she was feeling the same way.
Dinner was amazing! The fact that we got very gentrified in gowns and bowties made it even more fun. Again, Lindzi surprised me with her openness and honesty, and I began to feel more for her in that moment than I ever had before. Our feelings for each other are real and genuine.
After coming off of such an incredible date with Lindzi, I had to switch my focus to Courtney. We had a great time in Scottsdale, Ariz., and Courtney told me she loves me, which felt so good. I love her silliness and quirkiness, but I want to see an emotional side too, and this came just in time. I was excited to see how our relationship developed even more.
I light up every time I am around Courtney, and this day was no different. We had a lot of natural, easy-going fun exploring the town, and I realized how many things we have in common when it comes to things like traveling, food and music. But I still couldn't stop thinking about the other women's warnings and if she even had a bit of remorse for her actions.
Ashley... gee, if you had so much fun with Ben, couldn't you be more subtle about your overnight with JP?
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
I had so much fun with Ben on our date. I remember laughing so much. Our sense of humor is so similar and I would say we spent 80 percent of this date cracking jokes and having a great day out in the sun. What you didn't see much of was our boat ride home. It was so romantic and he laid his head on my lap and we looked at the stars. It was a moment of clarity for both of us.
My last date was with J.P. and I remember being so excited to see him walk up. I loved J.P.'s kisses and remember not wanting this date to end and being happy knowing that this was an overnight date and it wouldn't have to end so soon! We took a seaplane to our own private beach and, of course, spent most of the day kissing. Beaches seem to be our thing.
Brad... keeping it neutral.

The women and I were able to go on some amazing dates. A safari, riding elephants and a helicopter tour – all in one week! Whose life is this?! Speaking of the dates, being with Chantal and Emily in South Africa really brought us closer. Each relationship got a lot stronger, but I know everybody is going to have the most questions about Ashley.
Ali: Heartbreak In Tahiti... half the stupid thing is about Frank.

I could not wait to get some alone time with Roberto during our overnight date. Something really funny actually happened that night. It was about 4 a.m. (we were up all night talking) and all the power in our hut went out. We decided to stay in the hut anyway until the temperature climbed to about 100 degrees. We were dying of heat! So at 5 a.m., we snuck out of the fantasy suite and went back to my personal hut on the island. I remember trying to dodge the resort staff 007-style because we weren't supposed to leave the room. Once we got to my room, Roberto was a little bit shocked to see how messy it was. Seriously, you could barely see the floor! Ha. My only excuse was that I threw everything around trying to find the perfect outfit for our date together.
It was so great when Chris opened up at dinner. I wasn't expecting that from him. Since our relationship did develop a little bit slower, I thought maybe it would take awhile for him to open further. I was so glad that he could express himself in this setting. I also love that our date was both romantic and fun. We had sweet moments and were able to laugh and joke around, too. Chris is such a great guy.
Jake on his wings-of-love... "I will always love Ali". Ouch! Bet Vienna loved reading that.

I felt so bad for Tenley though because all during our picnic, little ants were biting her legs ... and mine. Our dinner was so romantic and the setting was incredible. Tenley was so affectionate that evening and we kept kissing all through dinner. I don't even remember if I had one bite of food! As we danced under the gazebo there were bats swooping down catching bugs. It was a little hard to concentrate on just dancing. Lol! It was nice to get back to the cozy fantasy suite with her. We talked all night long.
(Can't keep a straight face over all of this) The pirate ship with Vienna was awesome! We felt like two kids together playing. I've never gotten to make someone to walk the plank before but I decided I would dive in right behind her. We realized jumping in was a bad idea when we found ourselves more than 200 yards behind the boat and quickly getting carried away further by a strong current. It was hilarious. Some fisherman came up in a smaller boat and picked us up and brought up back to the pirate ship. Vienna was so funny that day. I love that she makes me laugh.
We had very serious conversation at dinner though. It may sound silly but I really wanted to know what was with all of her car wrecks and if she really understood the value of a dollar. I learned that four of the accidents were not her fault. I'm still not sure if anybody should ever let her borrow their car though!

We have to remember the blogs feed the show's storyline. They aren't always the most accurate when it comes to how things really went down or how the lead was really feeling.
