Quite possible that was his plan. But I fear Clare is so trapped in the Bachelor bubble that she would be oblivious, and happy to accept whatever lame excuse he gave her.

In the past have there been more screen caps released AFTR? Is it possible more pics were taken and not released? Usually there are plenty more pics of the final happy couple. Is it not possible there are more photos which may tell the more of the story? There should be more pics of both girls with Juan Pablo they are holding because they want viewers to wonder if he ends up with no one.

Sorry if this was already discussed, but have there been screen caps this season of the lead with the final 1 and 2 at the podium? In the past, if the final 1-2 they were standing to the right or left of the lead was a clue in who the final one was? Lately, like Des, Emily and Ali's seasons where there wasn't a F2 rejection by the lead there were no screen caps. So maybe the the F2 doesn't make it to the podium to be the rejectee or rejector?

This has probably been discussed already, but just wondering if there were pics of both ladies at the podium?

No, we haven't seen pics of the actual FRC. Makes me think something dramatic actually happened, they want to play up both women rejecting him, or nothing special happened but they want to keep us guessing.  

Thanks, Albean99. It's sort of fun to still be guessing this late in the game. Like last season, even though we had/have a spoiler, that doesn't mean anything really. It's like the good ole days where you waited to see who got out of the limo first for the FRC.

Well, we already know who gets out the limo boat first, but we don't know what will happen. Tonight can't come soon enough.

Re: Clare's comment about what JPG whispered, perhaps he told her about his LCD with Nikki (as he told Andi about Clare). That would certainly be something no woman would want to hear and be disrespectful, as she said.

Except Clare's LCD is before Nikki's, but it could be something about Nikki's FD. Gosh I hope not.  :shocked!:

The points about not seeing any of the F2 at the podium are well taken.
We usually have something showing the actual podium and someone there.

I'm pretty sure however, that both of the F2 make it to the podium.  These scs are at the same location and are pretty close.

Note, however, that the location to which CH escorts Clare (which is closer to the beach than the above scs) is also the location at which we see JP heading back toward the podium alone.  One explanation is that he follows Clare back down toward the beach and then heads back to the podium by himself.

So ... I'm still playing with the idea that Clare rejects JP as Jlccz suggested above.  If that occurs at the podium and is followed by some confrontation, after which Clare leaves and JP chases after her, he returns alone, and Clare is escorted to the boat by CH, it fits the scs quite well.

Clare rejecting him at the podium would also fit with what I have wondered about - JuanPa tells her that he would like to continue to see both Nikki and her so that he can ensure that he makes the right decision for both his family and him. She rejects his "proposal"since she was expecting the other kind - and off we go.

I also find it noteworthy that he uses the phrase - the decision he made - each time he has talked about the outcome.

Why the darn did he look so happy when he picked "the" ring. It appeared that he definitely had someone in mind for that ring.

Maybe because he was being paid to look happy. JMHO.
