I was thinking of the same that Sean or Jay might surprise Catherine by flying her mother to Dallas for thanksgiving.

This year they can announce/post pictures of them celebrating the holidays!

The mystery of the two letters is very intriguing. I guess we'll never know for sure how it all went down, but the most important thing is what is in those letters, her words of love to him.

All that being said, the show is highly edited. None of us believe he was torn at the end, but that was the storyline. And also, we had figured out that they edited the part where she's looking at the engagement ring, because Sean said she never looked at the ring when he proposed, he had to remind her to look at it. So it's also possible that he read the second letter that day, and then the producers reshot that scene of him reading an edited letter, after they realized what was in it. Because after all, they had no control over what she wrote him, so they couldn't do anything about it at the time. But after realizing that she sounded so confident, they could have quickly edited it to go with the storyline they wanted to tell.

Sean made it very clear that Catherine didn't even look at the ring during the actual unedited proposal and he had to remind her to look at it after the fact and she freaked out, It was adorable. So true to their nature, they are so genuine and their promise of love for life was the most important moment for them, not the ring as beautiful as it is.

I am sure Sean was talking about Catherine not looking at the ring after he placed it on her finger not in the box. As what we all as ladies we look at the rings on our figures and we lift up our hands to see how it looks on our figure, that is what Sean was talking about. Watch other engagements, you will see that the ladies were more impressed by the ring than the man engaging them. Catherine was more impressed by Sean not the ring, she actually put both her hands on Sean's face and told him that he was really handsome. I love the fact that Catherine was more in love with Sean than the ring.

^ I agree with you ILR. I also think the letter Sean tweeted out was written first, before Cat was asked by production to alter certain aspects of it to maximize the drama at the FR. Had this letter made tv, it would have been too obvious. CH handed Sean the altered version I believe. However, after the fact, he must have retained the unedited version and has since kept it in his bible because he's such a romantic man :cutesmile!: Ahh whatever went down we might never know. They are happier than ever and that's what counts.
