Well this news just made my crappy morning 100x better. So glad they are going to Seattle. I'm expecting lots of pictures to document it. I hope her sisters make it back too.

I've always hoped that there was a little scene they never showed us from Thailand where Sean called Cynthia to ask for Catherine's hand in marriage again before he proposed and they planned to show it as part of the wedding. I'm all for tradition but the wedding is already happening SOON.

I would not be surprised if they did this and filmed it for the wedding special. I would hope they would include many Filipino traditions and show them to us as well as showing overt Christian themes which are important to them both. So much important stuff has already been left on the cutting room floor in favor of "good television". In rewatching the Seattle hometown date just now, Catherine told her sisters that Sean had been vulnerable to her- yet we never got to see those moments with Catherine.... and over two seasons only a couple of times- when Emily sent him home and at the very end of his season when he wanted to talk to AshLee, but she was the ice woman and just as he was preparing to propose. (And finally we got that "live" moment when he cried watching the proposal).

Oh I could totally see Sean doing this if he knows about it! And I would imagine that Cat has filled Sean in on the customs. So excited!!! Soon is looking closer and closer!!!

mmm yeah I hope they do this and abc will be there to film it! because this is an important Filipino tradition and an important step that shouldn’t be missed before the wedding. It's fun! laugh out loud

, they can have a big party or just a small intimate gathering. Embarressed!

I'm from PNW, we had nasty rainy days last week and early this week! The heavens will open up for Sean this weekend, the weather forecast it's going to be sunny! :cutesmile!:

Oh wow! So excited to see this! Surely there is something special going on there this weekend. Otherwise, why would he not have gone with her a month ago when she was there. That friend sounded pretty positive she would see them. Sounds like a party!

It will be interesting to see if any other Lowe family members make a trip up there in the next day or so. Around the time that Catherine was last in Seattle she began to follow a big time restauranteur there (multiple locations, looks as if he caters big events). Perhaps they would incorporate the "asking" ceremony with the announcement to the families (like JP and Ashley did in what looked like a random, empty bar in NYC). That would be fun! If we get wind of other Lowes on the move, it could be happening!

Poor kids. They can't even fly peacefully on a plane without people bugging them But these people appear to be Aggie's so what can I say!
