Very pathetic. I've flown around the world and nothing, NOTHING, would ever make me act like Elan did. Not screaming babies or uncontrolled toddlers on 20 hour flights (both of which I've experienced more than once) and certainly not just a woman in a bad mood for 3 hours. Passive-aggresive, Elan? Yes. Get over your cheap self. You really aren't that important.

Would I have done what he did though? Probably not though. Both were pretty immature, but I can't blame Elan for doing what he did. She's a grown lady and acted entitled and he gave it to her. I personally don't have much sympathy for people like Diane- especially if someone called her out on it. She might not have thought it was funny what Elan did, but she could have apologized to the flight attendant.

Just one of the reasons I don't like the people that run this farce show.

Well except for th D word, I thought it was funny, witty and justified.

Some think he made it all up from a certain point. I dont know but it made me laugh ad it made its point.

I agree with his point but not his method.  Well below Elan's usual clever and witty standards.  Didn't make me laugh.  In fact, I was disappointed that he stooped to her level.  And tweeting a photo of your mother making an obscene gesture.  Really?  

Both Elan and the other passenger acted poorly.  If he was trying to show her that people working on holidays deserve our gratitude, he missed the boat.  If the point was to draw attention to himself well then.  Score one for the producer.

Honestly, I think he stooped lower than the lady or at best her level.
She had no insight at all beyond her own egocentric point of view.
But Elan not only had insight to the situation, but also realized how hard the staff was trying to diffuse the situation, and still chose to inflame her with vulgarity and immaturity.
There are certain things in life that are best ignored and this was one. I feel sorry for those airline personnel who had to deal with both morons.

Elan is usually one of the really good guys of the show... Practically ALL the contestants come out saying that he is the only one who sees them as human beings/ and acts accordingly...

You must know something I don't know even though I've watched the show for over 10 years. Since when has Elan been a good guy? He's a game player from what I can see.

Ditto. You have to play the game well to stay sane with this show. So---
As far as the nice guy syndrome--I will stick to my own belief system ---every one is nice until they aren't.

 They say he is practically the only one who doesn't tries to **** with their minds all the time... He is also a very popular handler, not just a producer.
Even those who are quite bitter about production afterwards, are on good terms with Elan. He is so to say the lesser of the two evils...

It's all smoke and mirrors. In most cut-throat companies there needs to be the "good guy". Especially in a reality show. That's been Elan's role for the last few years since he was hired. Elan is the one who keeps them from freaking out and leaking all the true details about their experiences cuz he's their dear friend. Ha.
