Did I really see JuanPa use the "R" on twitter? And then try to say it doesn't have a negative connotation in Venezuela so it's not a big deal.
Oh JuanPa, you really are clueless.

Yeah, he doesn't get it. That guy needs to get off twitter and chill.

I saw this tweet/instagram from Drew's twitter. Maybe, someone should share it with Juan Pablo! [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Oh JuanPa, you really are clueless.
Actually at least what I could see on his feed without signing up for twitter (I refuse) was the he just was talking about the "R" word in his country.
We may not like it here in USA, but in different countries, different things are acceptable.
I had a Canadian tell a classroom full of students that Florida is the penis of the USA. I personally found that offensive, since I was born and raised in Florida, but was told it was funny and part of being a Canadian.
I also work with a lot of men from India, who actually refuse to listen to any idea I have as being equal because I am a woman. It is part of their culture and I have to hold it in and adjust to allow for an okay work environment.
So even in the good old USA, people from other countries are allowed to keep their culture and beliefs.

Umngirl, correct me if I am wrong but, as I understand it, JuanPa retweeted something that contained the r word - I can't locate the tweet - his mom has also asked for its link but I think it was in Spanish. Apparently, when confronted by the use of the word, JuanPa tweeted:
Juan Pablo Galavis™ @JuanPaGalavis 3h
In Venezuela the R word is USED commonly and by NO means is to OFFEND anyone... #Relax #DifferentCulture #Respect
And he is getting a lot of flack about that tweet. His mom seems very upset about it and tweeted that she herself has a hearing disability - and that in Venezuela the r word is used to describe someone uneducated. If the tweet was in Spanish, JuanPa would not have known that it would be taken so offensively.
I can only imagine how his family must be counting the minutes for this to be all over.

Someone used it a "funny" tweet and JP RT'd the tweet:

Re: Bachelor 18 - Tweet/Facebook Updates - Discussion
^The original tweet containing it was deleted from his page. But it used the English r word.
Here's a SC of the tweet. Notice: I'm only posting this to prove it was in English, I don't condone using this word at all.

I'm counting them down. Things are getting ridiculous. Finding every little thing to carry on about.
